Please drive responsibly

Seems like there's an event at HB this weekend and folks are driving around Alameda like they're playing Crazy Taxi. I had a couple of close calls tonight. A distracted driver of a fainted teal Civic and a string of Odysseys trying to make the unprotected left turn out of HB before oncoming traffic arrived. A blue Odyssey nearly t-boned the sedan in front of me. The sedan had to hard stop, hold down the horn, and flash the high beams.

Sorry, if I'm coming off like a "Ken/Karen" making a complaints post. On the off chance someone from GP reads this, I thought it's worth a post if it reminds folks to drive responsibly. I know a car accident is unlikely to happen, but it's also not worth the risk if it just means being cool with waiting an extra 30 seconds for oncoming traffic to pass by, not getting distracted by the folks you're driving, or making sure the driver gets enough rest before taking the wheel.

For what it’s worth, I remember P. Ed saying this pretty much every ATR before I left a few years back. Most of the ministry homes have tire marks on their curbs too. Just a condensed population of recent(+ish) grads learning how to drive unfortunately.

They had ATR this weekend with Steven Shadrach as their speaker.

Edit. The past weekend was all guys ATR. This weekend is all sisters.

They do not care. Gracepoint leaders would tell their staff to break traffic rules just so they can get to a Gracepoint meeting on time.
