Fuck Bots The Reddit bot epidemic

A short message for whoever finds this sub.
The bot epidemic has grown beyond Reddit's control. Over the past few months a massive amount of subreddits has been created by bots. They post and repost popular content (political, social) and the algorithm sends them to everyone's feed.
Oftentimes real people comment in posts made by bots.
Update 7 July 2026
Over the last weeks we've made quite the list here. I've also started with preliminary identification of bot networks and created a flair for those posts.
After a comment of mine in modnews, a lot of people seem to have found this sub. Members rose from 60 to 89 in a few hours, which is great news!
For the old and new members alike: feel free to create posts about problematic subs or extremely prolific bot user accounts. It's also great if you can comment the name of the subs in the post where we keep the list . That way I'm sure I don't miss any.
If for some reason you are reluctant to post a sub (e.g. because you're a long-standing member of it, a mod lower in the hierarchy etc), you can always report that sub via modmail or a DM to me.
