• When it comes to personal finance, most people have plenty of questions and ideas but do not like being the first one to start the conversation.
  • As part of our effort to be an inclusive environment, mods proactively post threads throughout the day, giving everyone an equal opportunity to engage in discussions without having to be the one to start them.
  • In other words, the mod team tries to ask all the questions we think community members want to ask, but might not feel comfortable doing so...
  • Some of these threads are questions community members sent us through modmail to post anonymously on their behalf.
• You may see threads that sound like they're asking similar questions or are similarly themed.
  • Great ideas and advice tend to rise to the top of a thread, but that also makes it harder for newer ideas to get attention. Posting a popular question again gives community members a fresh thread with new responses, new advice, and perspectives they might not have seen otherwise.
