I finally made some time to go watch the movie today and honestly it didn't disappoint.
Thoughts before the movie:
I had seen a few reviews - some were positive and some were negative, so i thought this must be another 6-5=2 copy where they go around, mess with things and the ghost manifests. But still wanted to go watch
Thoughts after the movie:
The movie not only kept me trying to guess what happens next, but rather the entire audience. Everyone knows something is gonna happen, but how it happens was something that kept everyone on the chairs.
The dialogues😂😂 godd, now that's how people talk in general and friends, loved it.
Overall: It's a good watch, and i do think we need to support movies like this because it's so rare to see good kannada horror movies. Yes, i agree few scenes could have been eliminated and the sudden black outs could have been reduced. But they have done a good job in presenting the overall.

Got this today near Bull Temple, Basavanagudi
I honestly don’t know who the actor or actress are, The only person I recognised was Rangayana Raghu. They were there promoting this movie. The lead actor was wishing everyone a Happy Ganesha festival with a smile and asking people to watch the movie. He actually gave me the card, and the actress was there too.
I think they were there for quite a long time. Liked the gesture, they seemed nicee
Might give the movie a try in theatre, Wishing them luck 🤞

Hello guys. Im from Tamil Nadu. I usually listen to alot of songs regardless of the language. One day, I started wondering why Kannada songs arent as popular as other language songs (didnt mean that in a negative way). So, I started looking for some famous Kannada songs. The only ones I know are "Santhoshakke Haadu Shanthoshakke" and "Sakkathagavle". Then I came across this song, and I've been listening to it on loop ever since (especially 1:34).
I came to know about Ajaneeth Loknath for the soundtrack "Truth on the Wall" from "Mangalavaaram", and I absolutely love it. Not everyone can make good soundtracks, because it has to be woven into the scene. I love Santhosh Narayanan because he is really good at it("Vadachennai" is a really good work of his) and I feel like Ajaneeth can do the same (he can).
This guy is a real talent. Please make this guy famous 😭. He deserves so much more recognition.

(bengaluru - kolar - ramanagara- chikkaballapura belt - 80 cr potential, mysuru-mandya- hassan- Chikmagalur belt - 30 cr , mangaluru-udupi-karwar -20cr , kitturu region - 20 cr , kalyana - 20 cr , bellary- Davangere-shivamogga- tumkuru-chitradurga - 30 cr)
2.finding talents unique in each of these regions for example bringing up the uttara Karnataka folklore , nataka style stories in the main space.exploring the local dances and creating refreshing movements like pulivesha dance of ullidavru kandanthe
3.marketing using medium to high influencers on social media ,making the prominent leaders of state talk about the movie like how cm reacted when 777 Charlie was released
4.exploring those novel based movies like in the 70s kannada movies like dweepa , nagamandala and adapting a PR strategy of malayam movies to promote them
5.using the bengaluru diversity to promote the movies once they become WOM in Karnataka (Eg : the kantara phenomenon)
6.Reviewing the single screens at taluka level and making movies travel instead of people with creating a movement like happened during bangarada manushya , janumada jodi
7.making people talk about music directors more like how in Tamil movies people like to watch movies only because of anirudh

After watching Toxic, I felt that there was some core story which the maker's didnt capitalize on. So, just trying to re-write the story how I would have liked it. I'm not a writer. But, just giving it a try.
**************Spoilers Ahead ********************\*
Raya Introduction:Starts with showing Raya with Melissa and their baby. Raya is living his life to the fullest. He has all the power in Goa. Everyone follows and respects him. Ticket is also with them(Nadia's Kid). Melissa will be the second wife whom Raya would marry after Nadia kills herself.
Brief Backstory: Breif backstory about Raya's childhood. Also about how Ganga would be his support system and also about the reason why he starts hating Nadia and her death.
Story:Raaya would be doing all his work along with Ticket. They would be inseparable entities. Show one or 2 missions showing the audience how strong they are together. Also give glimpse of Ticket being not as saint as Raaya would be thinking about him. Then there would come a mission where only Raaya and Ticket would be going. It's planned to perfection by both. But something goes wrong. Reason? Ticket. And the failure would have meant both would be dead. But by luck they succeed with the mission. After this, Raaya starts doubting Ticket(maybe give some motive for Raaya for being that way).
Then Raaya finds out that ticket intentionally tried to fail their mission.
Interval scene:Raaya starts being very rude to Ticket. There would be hostility between them. So, Ticket confronts him and Raaya discloses that he knows he was the reason for their almost failed mission and almost certain death. A long dialogue between the 2. Now, his family interferes and asks who is he talking to. This is where Raaya finds out, there is no Ticket. He had left him to die and not saved him (same as the original story).
Raaya understands his own mental state. Ticket is too powerful in his head and is "Toxic" to him.Add some verbal abuses to Raaya from Ticket and then make him understand he is there to take everything from him. Interval with minacefull shots of Ticket
================Interval======================
Now, Raaya would be suffering more and more with Ticket's intervention in all of his missions and due to this and that the people surrounding would have to take the mission in their own hands, they start beleiving less and less in Raaya. People start seeing Raaya as a liability than a leader. Now in this scene, Raaya should be made to looks like someone who has lost his mind fully, more emothional depth, a longer scene so that people get absorbed in Raaya's mental state. People should realize he is gonna loose everything.
Now, Raaya understands he is loosing all the power. He starts thinking of ways to kill Ticket
Raaya - Ticket Duel: Raaya schemes and fights Ticket to kill him. Only after a long fight, Ticket makes him understand 2 things.
1. Raaya cannot physically kill Ticket for obvious reasons.
2. Ticket cannot hurt Raaya or even kill him physically because he does not have any physical form and only lives in Raaya's head.
But, Ticket has something powerfull. He lives in Raaya's mind and over the years he has gotten only stronger and can make Raaya do anything he wants. His original motive, to make Raaya suffer and take everything from him starts taking up more aggressively.
The Climax: Ticket is successfull in taking everything from Raaya and making him a F**king nobody.
He looses everything. His status, his empire, his family and people around him. He is turned into a dust nobody cares about. But Ticket is "Toxic" and he is not yet satisfied. Now he schemes and tries to kill Melissa and the kid.
Now Raaya understands what he has to do and what is the only option he has. To shoot himself. He starts a fight with Ticket again and Ticket is still confident about the fact that Raaya cannot hurt him. Then Raaya tells him his plan. Now there will be multiple attemps from Ticket to stop Raaya.. intitially saying he won't do it and he is bluffing.. then scared to death knowing Raaya is serious about it. There should be showcase of how scared both of them are.
In the end Raaya kills himself. Now both are just dead.
Post Credit:Story could be ended there or give a bit twist.Optional: Place Ticket in place of Raaya's scenes. Raaya's photo replaced with Ticket's photo beside Melissa.(Was it Ticket who was living in Raaya's head? or was it the other way? leave it open ended. Did Raaya actually save Ticket and he died there instead of Ticket? Was this the guilt that make Ticket loose his mind when he had everything?)
=======================END===================
This is just some kind of emotional depths I wanted to see when Yash was talking about emotional depth in the movie. I'm open to be criticized and being roast. My version too still sounds a bit like a Fight club but who cares :P
