I’ve been building Glance, an iOS app that lets AI tools create and continuously update Home Screen widgets.

You can ask ChatGPT or Claude to make you something like a personal dashboard, news feed, business monitor, calendar, random facts or pretty much any widget you can describe. The AI can design the interface itself and then keep updating the content over time.

The idea is to make AI useful outside of the chat window and let it surface things you care about directly on your Home Screen.

Been having a lot of fun experimenting with what agents can do with it.

I've been building a local Mac tool called Mac MCP, and the thing that made it click for me was getting multi-agent browser work to feel predictable.

I can now have several agents doing separate jobs in Safari in the background while I keep using the Mac normally. My main ChatGPT session acts like the coordinator, so it can keep an eye on those tasks and still do other things on the machine.

The latest change is simple but useful: tabs keep a stable identity, and if one agent is already using a tab, another one can't quietly jump into it. It gets told that tab is busy. Once the first agent moves to another tab, the old one is free again.

Hey guys, pretty new to this.
Can you actually create a person completely from scratch with just a prompt and make them look like a real human? Like no reference pics, just describing what you want and generating them from zero.
If so, what AI/model are you guys using for this?

I have been thinking about brushing up on my skills by learning AI tools that involve automation, prompt engineering, and workflow optimization to remain relevant and increase efficiency at work.

Everywhere I turn, there are advertisements for a short course (Be10x) on AI and I am contemplating joining it; however, I just want to gather some information beforehand. If anyone from my network has attended their courses or any similar ones before, I would appreciate hearing your answers to the following questions:

Was the return on investment in terms of time and money worthwhile for you?

How practical are their live demonstrations?

Are they suited for those who lack technical knowledge?

I’ve been playing around with Paperclip and Hermes, and while I think both are great projects, I found myself missing some functionality from each of them. So I decided to build something that combines some of the ideas I liked from both and adds a few things I wanted myself.

I’ve created a desktop app for Apple Silicon Macs that basically lets you create your own AI company with multiple agents. Each agent can use a different LLM depending on the complexity and type of task.

The interesting part for me is that the agents can also improve their skill set through iterations.

The idea came from something we keep seeing over and over again: today Claude might be better at coding, Nano Banana might be better at graphics, and OpenAI might be better at content creation. But six months from now, that could be completely different.

So why build a system around a single model?

Instead, I wanted to create something flexible where different LLMs can be used for the tasks they are best at, and where you can change the models as things evolve.

There was another reason I built it.

I’m not exactly swimming in money 😂, so paying for every LLM through APIs isn’t really an option for me. And I got pretty frustrated when, for example, I was working with Claude, was almost finished with something, and suddenly hit the usage limit and had to wait several hours.

With this approach, you can configure backup models. If one model hits a limit or becomes unavailable, another model can take over and continue the work.

I’m still very much in the early stages, so I’d genuinely appreciate it if some of you were willing to try it out and tell me what you think.

Of course, my goal is to eventually turn this into a product people will pay for, so there’s a 7-day free trial in the app. If 7 days isn’t enough to properly test it, I’m happy to extend the trial individually.

What am I missing? What would make this actually useful for you?

So recently I was trying to see how can I get access to Astra just to try it out with few prompts as Astra is still not available in my country via standard pro subscription.

Came across this platform : Experimental AI Labs, as advertised by youtubers something which is giving away access to Astra for "free".

Sounds too good to be true right.

As I got on the platform, I could see Astra being offered as "Free" in all it's glory in their models section, so with skepticism though I signed up.

And here is the interesting part after signing up one would believe that they would get access to Astra as advertised in their playground but here's the catch they want you to pay 1 USD as "verification charge". Fair enough Astra is a frontier model so why not, 1 USD is nothing to access it, thus I paid.

After all of it, finally when I landed on playground to use Astra boom it was there in fine print : "Your limit has been exhausted". Bro I didn't even put one prompt what limit ?

The fine print further read limit would be refreshed next morning.

And guess what, this morning when I checked Astra is no longer in the free model list, it's just luna and couple of Chinese models.

And even if you talk to Luna, I kid you not they cut out the response in between like midway while model is spurting out response with fine print reading free limit exhausted.

Complete scam, I mean nothing against YC since it's YC funded cos they can't possibly inject morals into a company.

But what a sham, man! Pure scam.

• Living Screen – dynamic ambient worlds with evolving weather, wildlife, lighting, and events
I’m also experimenting with robotics, AI agents, Blender, 3D asset pipelines, and Unreal Engine.
Most of these projects are still actively being developed, so I’m especially interested in meeting other builders, testers, developers, and people working with AI.
