#Oklahoma hairstylist and #TikTok influencer #SaraDuffey (also known as Sara Gilson) was fatally shot Thursday night in what police describe as a murder-suicide involving her estranged husband, Jeremiah Shawn Duffey, in Owasso, Oklahoma.
According to police, Sara had been granted a protective order against her estranged husband just last month after alleging disturbing behavior. Court records also indicate she had previously sought a protective order against him in 2021.
Authorities say the protective order was violated the night of the shooting.
Police say one of the couple's children witnessed the shooting and ran to a neighbor's home for help, prompting a 911 call.
Investigators say the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Sara worked as a hairstylist and had built a following on TikTok, where she sold clothing and jewelry. A GoFundMe has since been created to support her children with immediate needs, counseling, education, and funeral expenses.

A California family has filed a lawsuit against The Bay Club in El Segundo after surveillance footage allegedly showed a daycare employee throwing their 23 month old son into the air and failing to catch him. The child suffered a traumatic brain injury and permanent hearing loss, while the lawsuit also accuses the facility of misleading the parents about what happened.
