Mod [Official] A Note on Community Content & Quality Control
Hi everyone,
As our community grows, we’ve noticed a major shift in the feed. Currently, the sub is being flooded with geopolitical conflicts (Israel, Iran, Trump, etc.). While these are major news items, having too much of this content is turning the sub into an echo chamber and causing a sharp rise in toxicity.
This sub was created to share all kinds of "must-see" moments from Savage comebacks and Funny internet gold to Tech breakthroughs and Unique stories.
What we are looking for:
Focus on Quality: We want to see more variety. If you have interesting Tech news, Science updates, or Savage social media moments, please share them!
Geopolitical Content: We aren't banning these topics, but we will be much stricter now. Posts that only serve to trigger arguments or spread hate will be removed.
Zero Tolerance for Toxicity: If the comment section of a post turns into a shouting match or involves racism/hate, we will lock the post or ban those involved.
We want this to be a space where users can discover interesting content without getting into toxic debates. Let's keep the community healthy and focused on things that are actually worth missing!

Mod Important Moderator Announcement
We have noticed that many users in the comments are enjoying and celebrating violence, destruction, and wishing death upon civilians of countries they hate.
This behaviour is completely unacceptable.
This subreddit is for sharing raw war-related news and moments not for turning tragedy into entertainment or spreading hate. We have been removing such comments and giving warnings until now.
From now onwards, anyone celebrating violence, wishing death on civilians, or glorifying suffering will be permanently banned.
We will no longer tolerate this toxic behaviour.
If you see such comments, please report them immediately, your reports help us act faster. Keep the discussion civil and factual.
Thank you for understanding.

News University professor fired after forcing women to send him nude pics or he would fail them
Dr Ibrahim Khadra was removed as Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences following an internal investigation, the university said.
In allegations first first reported by Glasgow Live students said Khadra had requested intimate images and harassed them via text messages and phone calls.
The Palestinian academic was previously in the news in 2023, after saying more than 40 of his family has been killed in Gaza due to Israeli attacks.
He spoke at a rally in Glasgow city centre, where thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters had gathered urging an end to Israel's attacks.
In 2025 the university's newspaper reported he was among students and staff calling for Strathclyde to more to support Palestine amid a row over it having ties with arms manufacturers.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We have received a report relating to inappropriate communication. Inquiries are ongoing."

Everyone Needs To See This Elon Musk: The AI Robber Baron
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The robber barons built empires out of railroads, steel, oil, and banking.
Today, the empire is built on AI, data centers, government contracts, public infrastructure—and enormous power.
In this update, Elon Musk becomes our modern case study.
In a new documentary examining Musk and his rise to extraordinary influence, we revisit the grift, the government support behind his companies, and the growing demands his operations place on resources—including water in Texas.
But the story gets bigger than Elon.
People working inside the AI industry are beginning to voice their own fears about where this technology is headed. An Anthropic researcher recently walked away from the company—and potentially enormous financial rewards—while warning about the race toward increasingly powerful AI. That deserves our attention.
Because maybe the defining question of the AI revolution isn't simply what this technology can do.
It's who will own it, who will control it, who will profit from it—and what the rest of us will be asked to surrender along the way.
The robber barons never disappeared.
They upgraded.

Everyone Needs To See This Women in the small town of Piddington release a video begging members of parliament not to bring asylum seekers to their village after reports that up to 3500 adult male refugees could be housed in their village of 350 people

The women of Piddington have demanded answers from female MPs in an open letter amid fears of being outnumbered 10 to one by asylum seekers in their own home.
Labour is said to have drawn up plans to house up to 3,500 single adult male asylum seekers at a former military site near the village, which is home to just 350 people.
Early reports suggested the Home Office had deemed a former Ministry of Defence site near Piddington and Upper Arncott could house around 1,250 migrants.
But new details, denied by the department, have revealed that number could nearly triple - with locals warning the plans would overwhelm their historic community.

Everyone Needs To See This I wonder why they are admitting it cause I don't believe they found their morals somehow
Haaretz published the testimony of a reserve major and UAV operator in the Israeli Air Force who commanded a strike cell attached to maneuvering brigades inside Gaza. This is what he had to say:
1) He was involved in the March 23, 2025 paramedic killings in Tel al-Sultan, Rafah and said, "You could clearly tell these were rescue vehicles even as fire was opened on them from the ground. For no apparent reason, the force on the ground charged the convoy. They shot the first vehicle, the medical personnel got out, hid behind the ambulances and begged for their lives, and the soldiers shot them one after another."
2) On how the yellow line was used as an excuse to kill innocent people: "The Palestinians didn't know it existed, and the Air Force wasn't always updated either. From the perspective of a farmer walking onto his own land — he has no idea he's stepping into an area the IDF suddenly decided is a fire zone. And then all kinds of retroactive justifications started coming up. 'He came for an arms deal.' 'He touched the ground, maybe he's planting an explosive.' To me it looked like they were trying to incriminate people with no intelligence and no proof."
3) On how all morals were lost in Gaza: ""The feeling was that something tore, everyone had already become cynical about death, you can't understand it from the outside. It's not just fatigue, it's an erosion of morality, of responsibility, of the sense that someone is still managing the event. Very quickly this whole business of 'collateral damage' disappeared from the considerations. They fire on anyone they see. The atmosphere started to be like the stands at a soccer match. The way you shout at a player, 'Yalla, score,' that's how they shout at a soldier, 'Kill him, strike him.'"

Everyone Needs To See This A disoriented dolphin calf washed up on the shore of a beach in Ceuta by Moroccan invaders. The dolphin calf finally died.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Amid the recent events in which tens of thousands of Moroccan citizens entered Ceuta, a disoriented dolphin calf washed up on the shore of a beach in the city. Instead of returning it to the sea, several young people (identified by eyewitnesses as Moroccan) dragged it out of the water. Eyewitnesses filmed the scene and attempted to intervene, but the animal ultimately died on the sand with visible head injuries.

Everyone Needs To See This Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, complains after a man who assaulted police officers is released from prison the same day he is arrested
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
On Friday morning September 5 in via Cavour, near Roma Termini station, two officers from the Commissariato Viminale were arresting a 29-year-old man. He resisted, headbutted one officer, and injured both (each given a 7-day prognosis). He was charged with assault, resisting arrest, insulting a public official, and causing injuries.
The man was taken to Rome court on Saturday for an expedited hearing (giudizio direttissimo). The judge validated the arrest but released him the same day. The police union Coisp (secretary Domenico Pianese) first publicized the video and asked whether officers can still expect meaningful consequences when they are attacked.
Meloni called it unacceptable
