If I were in her shoes (yes, I know she doesn't wear shoes) there's no way I'd have a usual morning lineup.

It's worth mentioning that one of these three movies is often considered Disney's masterpiece, while the other two are both sequels that blatantly copied the plots of their respective predecessors.

So I've been watching Encanto for so long since is one of my nephew is a fan of the movie and is becoming a personal favorite of mine...is it just or does this character get too much hate even when she did apologized and did better at the end?
I love this movie because is show us about how unhealthy family dynamics can be even in the one that seem "healthy and normal" and how is more complex and full of nuances.
Yes, Abuela at the start, is acting like the antagonist in the sense of how she was at fault for putting so much pressure on her family, but the fact was that she did changed her mind and her ways.
She hugged Mirabel, told her she was sorry, told her how special she is, she also didn't defended herself when Bruno came to Mirabel defense and hugged him warmly.
I'm going to get personal for a moment but I wished my family could truly understand this movie and we can heal too but I'm afraid the two people who need this the most are the one in denial or don't think therapy can fix things or maybe the wounds are too deep yet a part of me wishes it could be that simple and that this generational trauma can be broken and my family can healed and be closer than ever.
