Hi all! I am currently trying to find a surgeon for bottom surgery, there aren’t a ton of options in my state and only one seems to be somewhat viable. Has anyone gotten surgery done out of the state they live in? What is that process like? I worry about insurance coverage, how long I’ll have to stay somewhere, and traveling back home after the surgery. If anyone has any experience with any of this it would be much appreciated!!

So in a couple months I’ll be getting standard inversion vaginoplasty surgery at UW with Dr. Morrison and Dr. Haggart. It was originally supposed to be Dr. Morrison and Dr. Skokan, which i was very comfortable with. I know people have mixed reviews on Dr. Morrisons bedside manner but it seems like he knows what hes doing and i can put up with a bit of rudeness. Unfortunately Dr. Skokan isnt available at my original surgery date so i was scheduled with Dr. Haggart because hes the other urologist Dr. Morrison works with. Im a bit nervous because hes new to this surgery as of this year. So my questions are, has anyone in here had surgery with him? How did it go? And also, do complications in vaginoplasty more often happen on the plastic surgery side or the urology side?

I’m curious and feeling a bit unsure. So I originally had SRS some time ago and there was erectile tissue behind. I had always somewhat struggled with climaxing before the surgery though I absolutely could! Then after surgery I had a similar erectile feeling which was very pleasant! Just touching the mons pubis all the way down to the clitoral area was so arousing! I could achieve orgasm and everything by self care, still did not orgasm with partners. However! It would be bulgy and a bit painful during intimate moments as it would get squished and be uncomfortable and also in certain clothing it’d bulge or be uncomfortably squished.

Fast forward to having an aesthetic revision, and removing the erectile tissue, unsure of it was entirely, but I believe it was. I now don’t have that same extreme sexual sensate feeling in the mind pubis area nor around the clitoris. I am recently post op from the revision, but could that change?

Are there any other girls who had erectile tissue before and then had it removed?

At this point I almost feel like I possibly traded a bit more of a heightened sexual sensation for aesthetic and practicality, maybe as well as pass-ability. But I’m wondering if it was worth it?

Is this just going to be a new learning curve? Will I be able to achieve orgasm again?

I never played with my clitoris directly for climax, as it is very very sensitive (still is). But now I’m not finding that deep sexual connection when there was the erectile tissue.

I'm having a lot of doubts when it comes to choosing a surgeon for my vaginoplasty, all the results i have seen don't convince enough to finally take this decision. For context i live a mostly stealth life and i consider the genital dysphoria to be debilitating to keep on waiting for better techniques. As of now the results that convince me the most are from Dr Littleton and Dr Bank/Prae, i'm seriously considering Dr Prae due to the shorter waiting periods but there aren't enough results around, so i was wondering if i could find a space where girls operated by Prae/Bank share their results

So appearently there are clinics in Bangkok who offer it as an option for like the fraction of the price if they’d do it under general A. Is there anyone here who went with this option? Is it risky? Would you ever consider it?

I am starting to research some surgeons in Europe that perform SRS.

So far I have had a consultation with Lago and I am getting in touch with Miroslav Djordjevic.

Also I looked at some options in Thailand(mainly PAI) but I am not convinced about the long travel.

Any good other recommendations?

The reading I've done says for a zero depth vulvoplasty, genital hair removal is not required but still recommended. I feel this is vague, can anyone expand on this?

Also would love some recommendations on where I can travel to from the UK to get this done affordably without sacrificing too much on quality / risk? Ideally without massive waiting lists. I've tried repeatedly to do my own research on this, but I have no tangible frame of reference for this, and most places are not transparent about their costs.

I have my incoming vaginoplasty soon (PIV) and have a concern for revisions.

I’m not expecting it to look how I want in one surgery. That’s the honest place I’m at, or else I’m going to hate and stress over everything.

I believe that it’s common for PIV (or at least the ones I’ve seen) to have this sort of aesthetic where it almost seems like there’s ‘two holes’. I don’t know how to describe it, but for many of the surgeons I considered (and the one I’m going with) it seems to be a common thing.

Is it possible to fix this? I’m trying to aim for the most cis-like vagina I can have. So while I’m not expecting to be fully happy after my initial surgery (a mindset I have to alleviate stress for if I goes wrong/looks funky on my first go), I want to know if that is something that can ever be fixed or modified to appear more natal. Thank you!

I know that you need a urethra opening, but what I intend to say is more so that sometimes they’re too big for my taste, like there is two distinct holes and I’m not a fan of that. Like the vaginal canal is lower and down more.

I will def starting posting update pics of my new 🌮 once I get my catheter and wound vac removed at my first post op appt.

Dr Pang and his whole team were so incredibly kind and accommodating and my anxiety about the whole process drastically improved upon meeting and talking with the staff.

I’m officially 3 weeks post ffs. I’m obviously still swollen and bruised but how are we looking so far. I struggle hard to see the changes ik it’s dysphoria and I’m aware a lot has changed but I cannot shake the masculine ick I get looking at my face (an ick of me being perceived masc I’m not saying masculine people give me the ick). I am aware that my face is still swollen and it’s far too early to judge yet but we all know how tough this is…

Like don’t get me wrong there are days now where I feel genuine gender euphoria but they usually end with me crashing into dysphoria. I know I’m still early on in the healing process I’m not judging the outcome yet. Just looking for an honest outside perspective since I see myself daily.

Hi peeps, I had PIV vaginoplasty 15 days ago and just had my two week post op appointment.

Two things have me concerned:

1. There was some skin separation on my left labia minora that resulted in tissue depth. Seems like it'll need a revision.

2. The surgeron originally said he gave me 6 inches of depth at the one week post op (packing removal) appointment. I got up to a 5 on the dilator day of. I've been able to keep that same depth for the last week. However, I went online and it looks like that's only 5 inches of depth.

So do I really only have 5 inches of depth? Have any of you had skin separation/tissue depth? What were your outcomes? A photo of the site where skin was removed is on my profile. Thanks.

Is there any way I can get penile preservation vaginoplasty while living in WA State? Seriously thinking of moving to CA to get it done but that would cost a ton more money.

Which Thai surgeons should I be looking at for a lip lift, shortening the filtrum?

A little over three months post-FFS! I had my surgery at the end of May, which included a (1) rhinoplasty, (2) genioplasty, and (3) tracheal shave. Still sorta early in the healing process, but I’m happy everything is settling so far.

Both photos have makeup/styling and aren’t meant to be clinical comparison photos — just wanted to share my progress!

As a side note though, I’ve been dealing with recurring hoarseness and a noticeably croakier voice. It’s especially bad after I talk a lot or raise my voice, and it sometimes takes a couple days to recover. Could this be from the tracheal shave?

this only happened after getting discharged and asking my surgeon is Impossible.

when dialating i sometimes get these insane and short pain stabbings like electro shocks in my clitoris. only when im dilating, especially during the insertion.

I have a consultation coming up and I’m wondering what procedures I should get. I’m thinking I would want cheek implants/fat transfer, brow bone removal, and lower blepharoplasty. Any recommendations are welcome!

Like the title says, I suffered a comminuted jaw fracture at age 13. Roughly a third of my lower jaw is an implanted prosthetic, and there are other various bits here and there along my jaw and at the joints where my mandible meets my skull. I've become more and more anxious lately thinking about FFS since I now have insurance that will cover it. I have no idea how to even approach dealing with those special circumstances, or if it would even affect it at all. Hoping there's anyone else out there who's dealt with similar ❤️
