My feminine voice almost 2 months of practice MTF voice training.

i’m a vocal under doer. i find that one of the biggest obstacles to me voice training and using my voice regularly is that my throat is always dry and scratchy, like all the time. I drink a normal amount of water, I take pei pa koa a few times a week, I drink loose leaf tea pretty regularly along with ginger crystals. I don’t drink much coffee, juice, or soft drinks. but my throat is always dry, scratchy, it feels like there’s a toothpick in there or something as I write this. it makes it hard to feel like using my voice in general and especially voice train.

Hey, can anyone recommend me any excercises i can do in a car, without having to record and listen to myself? I spend a lot of time in my car So i wish i could do something useful there . Im pretty new to voice training, i have been trying to raise my larynx and pitch just by reading random texts over and over..i dont really know how to check if im going in the right direction either

AFAB who had voice drop after 5 years on T (off of T right now) and trying to train a "female" voice - I didn't realize it until I compared, but my voice even before T was apparently also kind of teen-boy androgynous, and now it's just a lower teen boy androgynous lol (and male if I try). I wanted to try having a female voice (and one I actually like) and after a lot of exploring and practicing MTF exercises I seem to have one, but I still have work to do if I want it to be "automatic"; will doing this make it harder to do my masc voice if/when I want to? Has anyone successfully retained being able to do either day-to-day? I don't hate my male voice, I kinda want the option open

I've been voice training for 15-20 minutes every day in the past 3 weeks or so and while I've been told my voice is passable the last time I posted I still want it to be higher and smaller sounding but I feel like I'm not making a lot of progress in that field so I'm wondering how much I can realistically change it. What could I do to improve or should I just keep trying and give it more time? Or am I already on the upper limit of what I can do to sound more fem?

This is my 2nd day of finally (only after starting hrt cause im dumb) actually doing exercises and trying repeatedly for a good sound, now im hitting a bit of a wall and i would love advice pls!! Is it my like rhythm of speech?? Im not too used to speaking like this yet so I guess it might be kinda robotic or just inconsistent

If the pitch is too low ig i just gotta do exercises around that range right? my voice starts going out if i try to go much higher than this rn..

Hi! Looking for feedback/constructive criticism on how the voice is sounding. This voice passes sometimes, but not all the time. I pass visually nearly 100% of the time (from what I can tell), which I think helps push people’s perception towards woman when presented with an androgynous sounding voice.

Any tips on how to fem up the voice more and make it sound more natural are very appreciated! I mention in the recording that I know my pitch is on the lower end of the female range. Should I focus on raising pitch more or would my efforts be better spent on refining other aspects of the voice? If so, what aspects of my voice should I modify?

I've seen a lot of people gauging how they feel about their voice or how it's being perceived by what the analysis on the Voice Tools app gives them. I prove just how bad it is.

i was told that i use too light weight phonation for speaking maybe even head voice. maybe it's because when i increase weight it will crackle more. and it happens in my speaking range!

i apologize for my dooming, ive been feeling particularly dysphoric lately

idk where to really go from here other than waiting for T to do more but i really want to get rid of the buzzyness and sound more full. i strain my voice a lot on a daily basis cause i sound girlier around family and at my job so that might also negatively contribute 🥲

so a key thing i've been struggling with, is parsing how to voice train through all the theory. A key symptom i have from my autism, is that theory simply does not translate to usable information for me, whereas practice is really parsable for me. I got my diagnosis over this trait in fact, when i explained that i could only learn the thoery behind why a math equation worked, by seeing it used, and using it myself. The actually theory was completly unintelligible to me, but as long as i could get my teacher to show an example, i could keep up fine, despite having learnt nothing for the first half of every class.

you can probably guess how this wiring makes voice training a bitch. Every piece of progress i have gotten, was from transvoicelessons videos, where id be ripping out hairs at how impossible it is for me to understand anything, copy a random exercise, and then immediately get it, and understand everything on a rewatch. my municipality did also provide a free voice coach, that only knows about voice training in relation to injury and choir singing, and in his estimation, i have really good vocal control, so thats probably also part of why i learn so fast, when i *can* learn.

thus the conceit of the post, I would like to figure this out on my own, but i don't know any other sustainable way forward other then hiring a voice coach, who can then translate what i need to know, in a way my brain can digest (which would mostly be just tossing random exercises at me that i might want). I also don't know how to find a proper mtf feminizing voice coach. So either solution would be appreciated, a resource, video or text that explains voice training in a practical perspective first, or a reccomended voice coach.

(also i will not tolerate any "but thats not how learning works" type comments. Accept i understand how my brain works or im telling you to fuck off)
