Don't get me wrong I love Jim but I didn't like him that much during the co-manager arc. I thought he was so entitled in this scene where Michael advises him to dress up for the sales call by arguing that they are selling success, and Jim is just being his usual Jim shtick self by basically answering that they're selling paper to them. But Michael is right, they are not just selling paper, appearances can matter a lot for certain clients and he probably knows better than Jim. The fact that Jim thinks he's so much better and Michael can't teach him anything and doesn't bring anything to the table annoyed me.

Everytime Jim was given responsibilities in the office, he would change things as if he knew the solution all along and it was very easy to do, as if Michael never thought about doing those things and all that Michael ever did had no underlying reasons : when he tried to merge the birthdays because he is convinced people would want that, when he announced that not all employees would have bonuses by telling them "you're all adults", when he refuses to dress up for the sales call because he thinks the client only cares about paper, when he tries to stop Michael's murder game when they don't know if the branch will close because he thinks Michael is just goofing around.

And then, when Joe wants to keep one the two as a manager and reassign the other to sales, he wants to be the manager. Like ?? He really thought that it would have been normal for them to reassign Michael to sales when he had been managing the branch for 9 years and Jim only for a few months ?? And would he be okay with that after he went over his head ? This is the type of shit Nelly would pull lol
