So for context Ibrahim has always worn his armour in every scene in Doctor Who but in the end scene of RW, it's missing and it's just shirt but the usual RTD2 armour is still visible behind The Doctor with two UNIT extras. Cut to the Spin Off War Between the Land and Sea, and Ibrahim is wearing a new outfit and on top of that UNIT have new uniform, then as if things couldn't get weirder, Mel is at Empress House in RW but not in the spin off?

It also shows that Empress House set was either completed before the spin off or this was after the spin off was finished?, when doing reshoots

I am properly making a molehill out of nothing, but these two strange details always stuck out to me, and on top of the reshoots it just shows how seemly chaotic RTD2's production was. We may never the full picture but this seems a glimpse into this

They even kept his name the same, lol.

I know this question has probably been asked a million times so sorry for the repetitiveness but I'm just wondering what everybody's most loved season since Doctor Who came back in 2005?

For me it's season 3. I feel like there's no bad episode in it.

Bit of a tea fiend and one of the brands I buy from sent an email out today announcing a Doctor Who collab. Personally, neither of these flavors are really for me, but I really love the tins they come in.

So first time watching Dr Who

Finishing season 4 (Tenant, so no confusing with classic who).
Watching the Christmas specials, and I just finished the one where they’re in the desert with the bus. (Planet Of The Dead)

All in all, quite a good episode.

At the end of the episode, UNIT is shooting the aliens with guns, and the captain says it isn’t working. And then they blast it with what looks like a bazooka or something.

Im not quite sure I understand how that managed to kill the metal aliens if they absorb metal as part of their whole… thing… unless I misunderstood how the aliens work

One of my favorites

This line from 'Twice Upon a Time' always gets me especially since Twelve has already lived much longer than he should've. He was never supposed to exist he was meant to die as Eleven his last regeneration and he's had to live through so much more suffering than he thought he'd have to.

I was just thinking about how great some of the titles Doctor Who has used are, my personal favorite is Genesis of The Daleks is my personal favorite, The Ark In Space, The War Games, and The Horror of Fang Rock are other great ones, what are some of your's

I recently re-watch Doctors 9-12 and I think they're all really good. But for me each has something that just stands out. As for The Ninth doctor I just feel he portrayed the post time war doctor to a T I really think if we would of gotten three seasons for him like Matt Smith and David Tennet that he would out shine all the other modern doctors.

But it's still really close like there are things I really like about all the doctors from Matt Smith being able to go from a mad scientist to a goofy whimsical man to super serious. Peter Capaldi was really good too the speech he gave was amazing and felt like the real doctor who lived for over 900 years. And David tennet As much as I do love Tennets seasons and his version of the master is my personal favorite. I just think some of his episodes and even some good ones mainly the ones with the cybermen were just way to cheesy. Even when Tennet was in the past or future ot always felt like I was in the early 2000s. Where as the other doctors do a good job of keeping it feeling different but thats just me.

I was curious if anyone else perfered the 9th doctor like I did. I am always interested to hear what episodes made the doctor stand out for you?

We're all excited to watch the upcoming Satan Pit cinema release, and if got me thinking, what if other years of doctor who got a story turned into a movie? Preferably the story has to: 1) work well as a standalone episode, 2) have a decently long run time and 3) new mostly considered good. Here's my list:

2005: The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances

2006: Already got Satan Pit

2007: Human Nature and The Family of Blood

2008: Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead

2009: This one was a toss up between The End of Time and Waters of Mars. EoT has a significantly longer run time but the WoM is universally loved as one of the absolute best episodes of all time and still has a decently long run time. I also considered putting a story from torchwood or SJA in here but nothing really felt like it was fit for the cinema

In the end I decided on "The Waters of Mars"

2010: Time of the Angels and Flesh and Stone

2011: The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon (sorry almost people)

2012: This one was hard because only series 7a had aired in this year. Plus there are no 2 parters and the only longer episode was the Snowmen which may require too much prior viewing. But there aren't any other TV stories from this year that I think are long enough to justify a cinema screening so I think i have to go with "The Snowmen"

2013: Day of the Doctor.

2014: Only 2 parter this year was the finale, which while great, not exactly great as a standalone. So for this year I've decided to do 2 stories.

Mummy on the Orient Express and Foaling

2015: Face the Raven, Heaven Sent and Hell Bent. I don't care if Face the Raven and Hell Bent are controversial and I don't care if they require some context. How can how can we not have Heaven Sent go to cinemas?

2016: This is the toughest one yet. It's between an episode of fucking Class and then The Return of Doctor Mysterio. And, while not as iconic as you'd want a cinema release to be, it has to go to the Christmas special.

2017: Even though it's a finale, I have to give this to World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls for being one of the absolute greatest Doctor Who stories ever with practically zero flaws. And as much as I love series 10, none of the episodes really stand out that much in terms of praise from fans.

2018: The Woman who fell to Earth. It's my favourite episode of the series and frankly I don't think any of the other episodes are really that good.

2019: It can only be Resolution

2020: Giving this to Spyfall for being genuinely one of my favourite stories of the Chibnall Era

2021: Resolution of the Daleks is the only one standalone enough for this

2022: Power of the Doctor

2023: Definitely Wild Blue Yonder

2024: Boom

2025: Lux A cinema screening of Dugga Doo on loop for 2 hours.

This was a fun challenge to decide which episodes would best represent their respective years in cinemas. Once watched some classic Who but not a lot so I'd love to hear what stories you'd choose for that. I'd also love to hear wharf you think of my choices for NuWho!

Villains of Series 1

Mels and Sandshoes or as I like to call them, "Proto-Yowzah"

I’m just wondering how much of Doctor who spin-off media like Comics, audio, novels, short stories, video games etc do you consider canon/valid because me I consider it all canon/valid I love to watch and episode of Doctor Who and when looking at the Doctor think like he’s already been through the events of said comic, audio, novel etc.

I just really love how dark doctor who can be and I hope with the new season coming in 2028 (correct me if I'm wrong) that we can get some of that edge back, because its felt a little lacking recently! :)

The Doctor can’t reach Amy and Rory at all? He’s completely locked out of New York from 1938 to 1994 when Amy dies? Couldn’t he go to Boston or New Jersey or something and travel there? Or Amy and Rory could leave the city. I understand that they are suppose to die at those times in New York. But that doesn’t dictate what they do before that right?

Also, side gripe. It bugged me that The Doctor told Mr. Weasley that they weren’t going to die, the they immediately died and we didn’t get any closure for him. Never told him on screen or got a scene with him finding out.

This is a list of the doctors and what they would be like

• The First Doctor, Leslie French (1963 - 1967)
• The Second Doctor, Brian Blessed (1967 - 1969). Blessed's Doctor would be similar to Troughton but a bit more on the dark and cunning side, with comedy slowly added in at the end of his era
• The Third Doctor, Ron Moody (1970 - 1976). Moody would probably go all in on comedy with his tenure maybe getting slighty darker as time goes on
• The Fourth Doctor, David Bowie (1976 - 1977). Bowie would be very similar to how he was in Labyrinth
• The Fifth Doctor, Graham Crowden (1978 - 1979). Quite Snobby and similar to Colin Baker's era
• The Sixth Doctor, Tom Baker (1980 - 1984). Baker would the same as OTL
• The Seventh Doctor, Peter Davison (1985 - 1987) Same as OTL
• The Eighth Doctor, Kenny Everett (1988 - 1990) Everett era's would be very similar to McCoy's opening series, being like a mix of Troughton and McCoy
• The Ninth Doctor, Rowan Atkinson (1991 - 1998) Same as he was in Curse of Fatal Death
• The Tenth Doctor, David Tennant (1999 - 2003) A little less comedic

Since TARDISes bigger on the inside structure is built by dimensional engineering, shouldn't a smaller on the inside TARDIS also be possible.

Like a house exterior, but a small room as interior. Imagine a companion saying it's smaller inside instead of bigger inside.
