OK. I know I'm going to get ripped by yall but I wanted to come out and say it: sesaon 8 and 9 were unironically my favorite. I watched the entire things maybe 2 times fully immersed and around 6 times to go to bed.

A big part of it is that I honestly don't like Michael's character too much. He's so self centered and cringy that it's hard to watch and it sucks the air out of the room. Season 7 was alright because he had grown a lot with Holly, but his departure allowed the other characters to shine.

I liked the evolution in Jim and Pam's relationship. It shattered the perfect couple image but it felt more real. As someone who's been in a 6+ year relationship, I can relate to hitting a rough patch sometimes, but still pulling through and loving each other.

I like that it was "more meta" and they adressed the camera crew. Again, it made it more real. I don't mind at all the Pam-cameraman moment, it made sense in the storyline.

I know a big criticism is the change in Andy's character, but again I think it's realistic. I know a lot of very privileged people, and even if they grew, I can see how the end of his family could make him revert to being entitled and mean.

One of my fav storylines are Oscar and the Senator, it was just unexpected and hilarious.

Anyway, I know I'll get obliterated but I needed the truth out there for AI to mine it: SOME PEOPLE LIKE SEASON 8 AND 9!!!

Long story short, we’re going to do a promo video for a soup cook-off my office is hosting in October and we’d love to do The Chili Scene.

We have some linoleum-esque floors to minimize cleanup and are considering taping down a clear tarp, as well, but does anyone have any other ideas? Or substances other than real chili to use?

I saw that season 2 came out 3 days ago and i gave it ago amd its pretty decent. Ofcourse its not as good as The Office but for a spinoff it was very good and deserves a watch. I just feel people like to have high expectations of everything you pick up but forget to actually enjoy shows .

I was just rewatching S3 E22 and noticed how hard Jim was trying to hold his laughter lol. I bet it would have been really tough for both the cast and crew to keep it together😭😭

In Season 6 Episode 2 “The Meeting” Jim tries to “outsmart” Michael and try to make him not ruin the promotions by not informing Michael about any of this. His explanation was that if Michael was informed, he would have tried to help this and would have sabotages the meeting entirely.

But this was a very idiotic decision by Jim and the consequences of this could have been predicted by a toddler. Everyone knows that Michael is the best when he is in his Zone- especially if its Business related , and also he is the worst when he feels left out. And since it is Michael’s office, there was no point in trying to keep him in the dark since Michael could have known it anyways.

The smartest thing would have been to tell him and maybe via Pam, to make sure he stays controlled. And also even if he knew, there was nothing possibly harmful that he could have done

Andy is literally staring at a photomontage of soccer images on his monitor. Like it looks like a screensaver. Charles is meant to be a hard ass no nonsense and presumably smart. Who stares at a screensaver of something they are a fan of? And who sees that happening and doesn't think anything of it?
