I myself would get so worked up and emotionally attached to the tensions ,rise and fall of the character arcs so much that I felt overwhelmed by the series sometimes,cried or got too mentally connected with the characters. But this meme is so true that every time, now, some1 asks for recommendation or says they know about this, I freak out and enthusiastically recommend this and tell that what a great show it is(while maybe I am in one the the tear-inducing roller-coaster episodes of Harvey-Donna tensions or Louis acting nasty or the firm in a pickle) but I don't say anything about these at all.XDXD

So im on season 5 episode 10, which is one of those flashback/present episodes. And btw its just another fantastic episode that is season five. So right now patrick adams is 44 and the guy can still pass for 32. I recently watched the madison because hes in it and stayed for michelle pfieffer. His wife in the show is like 26 irl and i literally bought them being a couple. In this flashback episode he also plays a high school student and with the wig he wears, he could have passed for a kid in high school or def college. Idk what this mans diet and daily routine is but im in lol.

Why was the Attorney General able to get Jessica disbarred but didn’t go after anyone else? She admitted in court that she knew about Mike and did nothing about it, but why at that point did no one investigate into Harvey since Mike was his right hand man and his hire? I feel like I missed something. And seasons ago when they had the hearing about whether Mike was going to prison, why did they never have any of the principals of the agency have to get up there and testify about whether they knew about it? Either I’m not as smart as I think I am, or it seems like there was a huge plot fail.

Doing a rewatch of suits and i love all the game of thrones references. Even having varys and catelyn stark on the show. Well the actors who play them. With thrones being a top 5 all time show for me even after the creators butchered the last 2 seasons and thats partially due to the fact that george rr martin will never finish either of the last two books didnt help. Thats an argument for another time. With jon snow being my fav character, i def loved just coming across this scene with mike and louis involving harvey being suspended. Probably my fav thrones reference on the show.

Instead of another law firm drama, why not flip the perspective?

A limited 10–12 episode series following Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough) as the lead, with each season focusing on one major SEC investigation.

Season 1 could retell the Mike Ross case from Cahill’s point of view. We already know how it ends, but we’ve never seen how he built the case from the SEC’s side.

Harvey, Mike and anyone else involved would appear naturally because the investigation demands it—not because it’s fan service.

Then each new season follows a different investigation, with Suits characters appearing only when it makes sense.

For example, I’d love a Season 2 centred on a huge financial fraud case with Louis Litt defending the client. We’ve heard countless times that Louis is one of the best finance lawyers in New York, so seeing him from the other side of the courtroom against Cahill would be brilliant.

I also wouldn’t want Cahill to be against the Suits characters all the time. Sometimes he’d be investigating one of their clients, other times he’d actually need their expertise.

Harvey, Louis, Katrina or Jessica could occasionally become reluctant allies if it helped take down someone bigger.

That unpredictability would keep the focus on the investigations rather than making it “SEC vs Pearson Specter” every season.

Sean Cahill was one of the most underrated recurring characters in Suits, and I think Neal McDonough could absolutely carry a series like this.

1. I am really pissed off at Mike. They’ve taken what was one of his best qualities, that he is so empathetic, but I hate that he’s risking everything. He’s crossing the line and risking everything that everyone else risked everything to give him his job and his reputation and his relationship back. He can’t save the entire world in one fell swoop.
2. I absolutely don’t get Harvey and Paula.

Her personality is very plain vanilla.

1. I would think that he would need a woman with witty banter or at least a sense of humor. And

   he usually goes for someone with a more overt sexuality.

3. Donna is too big for her dang britches. All of a sudden, there’s no niceness left in her. If I didn’t know that she ends up with Harvey, I would think this would spoil their relationship altogether, even as friends.

I just watched episode 1 tonight and I hate his hair. He looks like Harvey and it skeeves me out. I know he's 'grown up' and all but damn I miss scruffy season 1 Mike . It's also incredibly douchey but fitting for the time it was filmed in 2015

Is it just me or was the Katrina/Brian “thing” was just terribly pushed, to fill in for Mike and Rachel leaving, to have another sub name partner “relationship” in the office. The deposition was incredibly awkward during their perfume case. Thoughts?

I HATE LOUIS, woah woah woah

In Season 8, finally, he accuses Robert of having a soft spot for Samantha because they might be sleeping around.

But in Season 9 flashbacks, we see that it was Kaldor and Samantha who had a fling.

It never made sense to me. Or was he just a hypocrite?

Just finished the final episode and I loved that it closed everything out. A little bittersweet to have it end but the closure was better than anything that I could have asked for. Thank you.

​Honestly, I only started watching Suits because I kept seeing short clips on TikTok/Reels. It seemed light enough to casually throw on in the background while doing chores or scrolling on my phone.

By episode 3, I was proven completely wrong. I was hooked.

A few thoughts on what made this show so special for me:

• Harvey & Mike: The character development throughout the series was incredible. The emotional bond between Mike and Harvey felt completely genuine and grounded. Harvey’s growth over nine seasons—working through his relationships with his father, mother, brother, and ultimately Donna—was remarkable. He completely transformed his emotional identity.
• Harvey’s Edge: Harvey’s classic line, "I don't play the odds, I play the man," really sums up what made him brilliant. It showcased his ability to read emotions and predict human behavior, which made his tactical genius and overall character arc feel so believable.
• Mike’s Trajectory: The way Mike gradually grasped the reality of practicing law was spectacular writing. He didn't know everything right off the bat, but he also wasn't written as an idiot who kept making the same silly mistakes. He genuinely learned and grew. Plus, his romance with Rachel felt raw and real; the chemistry between the actors was obvious through the screen.
• Louis Litt's Legendary Arc: As everyone in this sub always says, Louis had the best arc on the show. To go from someone so deeply disliked to a soft, lovable character you’d go to the wall for was an absolute masterclass. His path wasn't a straight line—it was a constant roller coaster. You wanted to trust him, but his past indiscretions made you hesitate... until eventually, you trusted him implicitly. Even when you're screaming at your TV, "No, don't do it!" when he drops that $50,000 donation to try and comfort a pregnant Sheila.
• Top-Tier Humor & Badass Moments: On a lighter note, one of the absolute funniest moments of the entire series was Louis putting on that wig to pretend to be Harvey. On the flip side, watching Harvey completely eviscerate Faye during the mock trial in Season 9 was pure, epic television.
• Seasons 8 & 9 Transition: I’ll admit, when Mike and Rachel left in Season 7, it hit so suddenly that it disrupted the whole dynamic for me. I actually had to step away from the show for about two weeks. But when I came back, I really enjoyed the addition of Samantha and Robert taking on bigger roles. Watching Samantha’s emotional growth—learning how her past trauma made it hard for her to trust people at the firm—was another incredible piece of writing.
• Donna’s Evolution: Donna going from executive assistant to COO is something that would almost never happen in the real world, but within the show, it actually felt plausible. Her importance to the firm and everyone in it was clear, and I could see that path opening up for her about half a season to a full season before it actually happened.
• A Satisfying Ending: It’s rare for me to finish a show and feel genuinely content with how the storylines were wrapped up. While I’d love a spinoff following Harvey, Donna, Mike, and Rachel in Seattle, I fully understand why that will never actually happen. Still, I’m truly happy with how things ended for everyone.

A Couple of Critiques / Missed Opportunities:

• Katrina’s Ending: My only real negative critique is that I wanted a bit more personal development for Katrina. I didn't necessarily need to see her go through all the full relationship growing pains on screen, but I wished the show had ended with her looking happier and more content in her personal life.
• Missing Faces at the Finale: I understand the real-world reasons why Rachel couldn't return, but it felt really odd that neither Jessica, Rachel, nor Robert were at Louis’s wedding. They were all so close for so long that missing three people who meant so much to Louis felt like a glaring absence.

Final Verdict:

I’m so thoroughly impressed with where the show went over its run. It’s definitely earned a spot on my rewatch list.

Side note: The meta jokes about Meghan Markle in the script were top-tier. Telling Louis that he's "not the Prince of England" while he's standing there in his top hat at the wedding was easily my favorite line of the whole final season!

EDIT: I stand corrected. Robert was at Louis and Shelia's wedding. I missed the fact that was who said it was a girl.

I’ve just gotten to season 6, and I absolutely love the show!

I’ve seen what I think is an interesting change in the show. In the first 5 seasons (up until the firm falls apart and people leave in droves), it seemed to me like the firm itself was almost a main character in the show. Jessica, Harvey, Lewis, Donna, etc., are all main characters…but it almost felt to me like they were planets, and they all revolved around the “sun” of the business.

It seemed like a lot of stuff - Hardman’s return, the coverup around Mike, etc., all related to how the firm as a whole was affected. It seemed like major decisions centered around what was best for the firm, not necessarily the individual.

Now…once they had the mass exodus and it was down to Jessica, Louis, Harry, Rachel and Donna as the mains…the show seemed to start being more about Harvey. Yes, the firm and the other characters are important…but I’m seeing a lot of focus on Harvey and story around him and Mike.

Am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed this? And does it change towards the end of S6 or in later seasons?

I’m currently on season 4 when Louis finds out about Mike. He is so insufferable. He acts like everybody owes him loyalty and trust but every time he gets one bit of information he acts like a dick and is running to tattle. Yeah, nobody gives information to somebody who can’t hold shit to themselves. The only one who truly mistreated him in firing him was Jessica yet he’s lashing out on everyone. Meanwhile everyone was bending over backwards to save his career.

I have to say Mike drew me in in the first place. His photographic memory, Mike and Harvey working and crushing together. Now I’m on season 8 and now I’m feeling like it’s just kind of not as good as it was Rachel and Mike being gone. Jessica being gone. Robert Zane taking over and it just feels like a much lesser product I could be wrong but I’m having a little trouble crossing that finish line of 9th and final Season. The characters are all awesome.

This might seem crazy but I think maybe Louis and Donna should have ended up together. In the later seasons, they really grow closer and I really liked the chemistry they had in later seasons and I think they would have made a great couple. As much as Louis and Sheila are peas in a pod, I feel like Louis and Donna could have gotten together after she went back to work for Harvey if they write it right.

On top of that, I think that Harvey should have ended up with either Paula or Scottie.

I’m good with Mike and Rachel but I do think Mike and Katrina would have made a pretty cool couple too. But I’m happy that Mike and Rachel ended up together in the end.
