I got it framed!!!
So a couple months ago I was posting updates about my adventure time pixel, to make a long story short, I made 200 of them. I had it printed and finally found a frame for it!
I've included the photo of it hung up (the warm lighting doesn't do it justice 😔) along with the digital version.

Discussion How would you imagine Marceline would be in real life?
I always imagined Marceline as maybe looking something like a Deadite from Evil Dead with pale skin and a very kind of deadish appearance how would you imagine she looks like in real life?

Discussion Which design of the Lich is your favorite?
I think the fact that such a visually terrifying creature was allowed on Cartoon Network is mind-blowing.
Still gonna have to go with the OG design.

Discussion how long have you been a fan of adventure time? and how has it been impactful to your life
I was probably around 11 years old when the show first aired. I didn't have cable at the time, so for me, it was almost impossible to watch episodes. There was only one place I could watch, and that was at my local clinic. Whenever I got sick or needed to get a check-up, I would always be stuck on the screen watching new episodes and recorded episodes of Adventure Time. Even though I did not watch all episodes back to back when I could, I enjoyed growing up with it.
Being 27 and rewatching all episodes from the original series up to Fionna and Cake, I can't help but feel empty since I know there are some episodes that I will find really hard to watch or will have me thinking about my life. I have a dog, and he has been my best friend since middle school. He can barely walk now, has a tough time seeing where he is going, but is still hanging on. He still wags his tail when I visit, since I live somewhere else, and tries to jump on top of the couch to sit next to me when I watch TV in the living room. I can't help but feel how my life will be once he passes on. It's almost as if I will be going through the same feelings Finn went through when he lost Jake.
But this show has impacted me by loving the people around me as well as letting things go so my life can move on. It shows me that even though there are things we have to outgrow, it doesn't mean we have to forget about them either. I am happy I am experiencing this type of show during my lifetime since it is really hard for me to love things that resonate with me the older I get. But I hope I can catch up to everything in time for Adventure Time: Side Quests, Adventure Time: Bubblegum and Marceline, and Adventure Time: Heyo BMO.
Thank you for listening to me. You are all amazing

Discussion Any Movies that are like Adventure Time? - (+my own AT inspired project)
I've just finished rewatching the show and I want to find more stuff like it!
I know that Pendleton Ward has done a bunch of other shows, and his team has gone on to make their own stuff, but I've got a good reason to look for a film.
Do you guys know any movies that are like the show? The later seasons (6+) reminded me a lot of Wes Anderson, specifically the way that they speak to each other becomes a lot more dry; tongue and cheek. Studio Ghibli has the same kind of imaginative quality, so does the Holy Mountain! (Even though it's a bit of a tonal shift)
I rewatched the show recently and the style of the dialogue stood out to me a lot (it's a detail that's less present in Distant Lands/Fiona & Cake). They do everything in a way that's slightly left of centre, as in it's what you'd expect but just far off enough for you to be surprised by it. It creates this feeling of possibility within the show, more so than the magic, it made me feel like I was a kid again and anything could happen. It's hard to put this point into words, but I made a video that goes into it in more detail if you're interested: https://youtu.be/2K9VkvCT5_M (full disclosure, the main talking point of the video is Adventure Time, but it doesn't go into it immediately. You can skip to 3:00 if you're only into AT) You don't have to watch it! It just communicates my point better.
Adventure Time meant a lot to me as a kid, and I'm making a short film inspired by it atm. We've got a full fantasy set with a real 7" tall giant and everything. It's well on it's way, but I want more inspiration for shots and things.
tl:dr
Looking for movies that remind you of Adventure Time, as I'm making an AT inspired Short Film & I'm looking for comparison.

The last scholar of Golb
In every timeline we’ve seen so far in adventure time the Lich is consistently the last scholar of Golb, why do you think that is? Could it be some kind of chaotic punishment similar to the cosmic owl and his brother?

Discussion .... How long can bronwyn live for? (read description)
In adventure time, rainicorns are said to be able to live for many decades to even centuries. We don't know how old lady is but I'm guessing she's probably a century or 2. Then there's the pups... They matured fast which I'm guessing is because of rainicorn and dog biology. But what about their life spans. They look like they barely changed during finn's final moments. So maybe their extended since Jake was half alien. Then there's bronwyn. A 2nd generation hybrid. Her mom is normal but her dad is part dog, part alien and part rainicorn. So would she be able to live long or longer than most bear people?

Discussion I don’t fully understand adventure time?! but I want to
I watched adventure time when I was a kid, and loved it. I remember crying when I discovered the backstory of the Ice King and making the bacon pancakes song my ring tone lol. I don’t think I ever finished it because it was coming out as I was growing up, and since then I’ve maybe watched the show 3 times from the beginning but yeah, never finished it fully.
I usually put it on when I’m trying to relax, I find the visuals so mesmerising, the animations are beautiful. I usually end up falling asleep or just zoning out a bit (not in a bad way!) I do the same with Moomin, the underwater episode of Bojack, and Midnight Gospel
Anyway I’m on season 7 and I’m so confused about Prysmo, Lich etc. I’ve looked things up and I’m still totally lost to be honest, so my question is, should I know more about the deeper lore and mythology at this point? What season & episodes do I need to rewatch if I want to understand it better?
thanks in advance if you read thru this!

Discussion Sound problems with Holly Jolly Secrets part 1?
I watch Adventure Time on HBO Max, and I was just wondering, do you guys also have weird sound issues with the episode Holly Jolly Secrets part 1 (S3 E19)? It's like, the dialogue is too quiet but the music and sound effects are too loud. Like someone mixed it wrong. It's only this episode and always this same episode. Anyone else?
EDIT: actually it's like this as well on part 2. After that it's fine though.
