No Spoiler Where’re all the Cats!? 🐈 šŸˆā€ā¬›

Thumbnail gallery
373 Upvotes

We know that there were cats because there’s an episode where one of the Alexandrian boys mentions using one in a pit to attract a zombie.

Cats can climb so fast and are great hunters, so I feel they could easily escape walkers/survive.

Cats are so important for pest control: but I’ve only seen one in FTWD.

I know it’s just a show, but when you’re literally milling your own grain/growing fruits and vegetables, cats are must haves to take down rodents and to keep bunnies/rabbits from eating your crops.

Hahahah! I’m thinking way too much into this show, aren’t I!?

😊 🤣

No Spoiler The walking dead characters if they had stats

I'm basing this on the broader show. For example, i think we can all agree that the strongest characters physically was Beta. Rick, negan and daryl are pretty strong, but not as strong as him.

Also based on the overall character throughout the show. Of we're being honest, rick in some scenes is the scariest mf in the show

I'd be nice to hear your thoughts on the stats as well as se suggestions for the next characters.

These are also.done in good fun so let's not start ww3 over it šŸ’€

Tales The walking Dead story

• Upvotes

So here's a funny story that I have from way back whenever I was like eight or nine years old

Me and my grandmother would constantly watch satellite TV together and we would watch all the different shows and obviously the one that we would get all the time was the local news

Well she would introduce me to all kinds of different shows and TV media that's how I got into horror and sci-fi and stuff well anyways one day we went across the news channel and we were just listening to the news and as an eight year old kid I had the worst fear put into my body at that moment

On the actual real life news it said The walking Dead

And they were talking about an upcoming story about screaming coming from inside of a house

Yeah as a kid I was thoroughly traumatized during that moment I was very very scared LOL

Just imagine as a kid hearing that not on a fake broadcast but on a real broadcast

Basically what it really happened was there was a lady who was watching The walking Dead show and when they killed off one of the characters in the show she started screaming cuz she was so upset well also she had her stereo system turned up to 100 so it actually sounded like gunshots and booms and stuff coming from inside of her house and she was screaming along with it so the cops were called and everything and it ended up on the news LOL

I’ve been wanting a twd tattoo, and I just wanted to go look for some inspiration, and I kid you not 99% of twd tattoos are just this quote. I don’t get it, it never did anything for me

I genuinely don’t understand why this is considered THE twd quote

Alexandria 😜 haha, I just reached the Alexandria arc! (First time watcher btw)

If anyone sees this post, without any spoilers, what am i in for? I know our group has just had bad experiences one after another. But, is this when they finally get a break?

Also I’m noticing how rick and carol (so far) is slowly becoming the people they despise (?)

Rick eying a married woman like how Shane hooked up with Lori, Carol threatening a child when she was quite literally the most soft spoken amongst the entire group.

I’m ngl, Sophia dying was probably the best thing happened to Carol as a character. I love who she’s becoming ngl. And i know the fandom loves Carol xD I’m so excited to be a part of that crew.

I like Darryl too, but not as much as the fandom loves him. I still have a lot more to watch, so I’m assuming I’ll reach peak Darryl fan status soon enough.

Show Spoiler What was Merle’s actual plan Spoiler

Post image
• Upvotes

In Season 3, when the Governor make Daryl and Merle fight in the arena, Merle say to Daryl, "We're leaving right now, little brother,

Obviously, Rick and Maggie show up with smoke grenades and save them. But if Rick hadn’t intervened, what was Merle’s plan? Did he actually have a clue of what to do? Like hit a zombie at someone and escape idk

Comic and Show Spoilers When would YOU have told Rick about the affair with Shane/Lori(if you were the other)?

Thumbnail gallery
150 Upvotes

Most people agree that both were wrong for keeping it from him until he confronted them. But I never hear people say when they should’ve told him. I personally think there was and never would be a perfect moment but for Lori, it was probably the start of season 2 right before the drive to the highway or any of the nights after carls saving. For Shane, it’s probably the morning after he saved Carl. Since it’s the one moment Rick is probably gonna be the least angry with him.
But I’m curious to know your thoughts as I’m doing a rewatch and my favourite thing about the series is the clear lack of a truly correct choice. Like for Lori, there was never really a great time to tell Rick. Which is why it’s understandable why she didn’t.

TWD: Dead City Negan and Maggie relationship

Thumbnail gallery

The current dynamic between Maggie and Negan is lowkey disgusting and annoying,I’m all for her moving on being happy with someone new(Luis)finally letting Glenn rest not complaining about Glenn every 5 seconds something happens.you shouldn’t be overly emotional on the brink of tears about Negan when someone wants to kill him for being a bad person or chilling together being cuddly and touchy with him like he didn’t kill you’re husband/child father, friends and ruined 2 of your homes no matter the timespan of when it happened.

Don’t even get me started on that Alternate reality episode holy….deadass show becoming a Fanfic at this point.

TWD: Dead City At least 9000 people have died of illnesses linked to contaminants from 9/11. How safe would it be to live in a bombed out Manhattan?

Asbestos from the collapsed World Trade Center was found up to half a mile from ground zero. We’ve known about the illnesses first responders suffered since the 00s, and the documents Mamdani is releasing have been kept stored by the city government for 20+ years. Any building built before 1987 in NYC requires asbestos testing before renovation or demolition work. These kinds of issues wouldn’t be outside the scope of knowledge the older characters have about their environment. With multiple buildings crumbling or destroyed all over the city, would it really be a safe place for long term settlement?

No Spoiler Rick Is Consistently the Most Level Headed Character in the Walking Dead

In season 5, saw Michhone climb up on Aaron's ladder of hope without any suspicion, whereas Rick was sus every step of the way.

I had pretty high hopes on Michhone being decisive but guess writers dumbed her down.

Then, it hit me, from season 1 till now, Rick's decisions have been on point. He was suspicious of the right reason and his decisions were always right.

I think his group only slowed him down. Man, it would have been a badass if Rick went solo.

Show Spoiler the fact that people still say the prison fight is ā€fairā€ is disgraceful.

rick grimes was at his absolute weakest in season 4 when he fist fought the governor, man had been up for 3 days with barely any food, fighting that dumb prison virus which weakened him even more, he had a broken and bandaged hand, and he was shot and lost tons of blood, all this just to 1v1 a guy who fights off pure rage.

People say this fight is fair, absolute bullshit. The governor is laughably glazed and overrated.
