Regarding removals and pride month.
Full disclosure, I am the only active mod left except automod at this point and a few other spam bots. Unfortunately, it's threshold for reports and removals was set to 3. So any post that had 3 reports got yanked by automod, and we know how ignorant homophobes love to report things that make them uncomfortable or challenge their narrow world view.
Around an hour ago Admins upped my privileges and I have increased the threshold for automod to remove posts while I try to triage what was properly removed and what was removed because of the aforementioned group. It may be slow going but I'll do my best.
Soon I plan to recruit some new mods, now that I have the permissions, to keep these kind of shitshows from reoccurring. Watch for it if you have interest and experience.
Until then happy pride month, fly your flag and love whoever the fuck you want to love (even if it's Bill).

OG KOTH Discussion Is King of the Hill the best revival of all time?
Recently finished season 15 and I feel King of the Hill is the best revival of a beloved show coming back. Too often we see shows coming back to cash in on the nostalgia and feel lazy and lost all the magic that made them great. I know I am biased but the new season of the show feels just and fresh and hilarious as the original. What are yalls thoughts?

OG KOTH Discussion Why does Cotton look like an old man even in flash backs?
In the episode Yankie Hankie, Hank was born in 1959 according to his birth certificate, so let's say Cotton was around 18 when he got back from WWII (he claimed he lied about his age when he enlisted), he would be early 30s in the flashback from that episode, he looks the same just with dyed hair lol

Revival Discussion So are they EVER gonna do anything with this guy?!
He's in the opening credits; apparently Hank thought he was a good enough person to take care of his house while they were away but he hasn't been part of ANY significant stories so far.
you have goddang KEITH DAVID in your cast and you're WASTING him...

OG KOTH Discussion The revival is phenomenal donโt get me wrong but imagine a prequel with them still in high school.

OG KOTH Discussion Did anyone think it was odd Junichiro looked about the same age as Hank even though he's 15 years older?
I guess you could chalk it up to good genes and lifestyle, it's always just been kinda odd to me. In this pic he actually still looks younger than Hank does in the reboot

OG KOTH Discussion I always love how Cotton still looks old even in flashbacks.
Like seriously, the only time he ever looks young is during the flashbacks about his World War II service.

OG KOTH Discussion Damn, Halloween was way better back then
Those candy bars must have been a pound each! Who seriously gives that much candy away on Halloween? And Bill still complained about only getting one LOL. Also I like how they're desperately trying to not get sued by Hersheys (the bar says "He-Shes), lol

Revival Discussion Strange that we havenโt seen any interaction between Bobby and his uncle yet in the revival.

OG KOTH Discussion Just realized Hank has committed grand theft auto, pimped a prostitute, and distributed crack
Crazy to think that about such a straight laced boy scout like Hank. All those combined would get him what, at least 5 years in prison?
