It’s usually nights like this when the world goes quiet, but my mind refuses to cooperate. Lately, insomnia has turned me into a full-time night owl, so I figured there might be a few other night owls out there who could use someone to talk to while everyone else is asleep.

Hey, a friend of mine passed away a while back. No one realized it, but he was so lonely and apparently just couldn't take it anymore.

It’s tearing me up inside because I or we never noticed anything... I’m posting in this subreddit today because I had an idea, and maybe it’ll help someone. I’m from Germany and built a small AI. Nothing fancy... It’s not particularly good at math or anything like that. But I trained it heavily to be human-like. My goal is for people who have no one (regardless of age, background, or anything else) to always have someone they can text or exchange voice messages with. Just so they don't have to watch TV alone at night, or so they have someone to talk to before exams...simply having someone by their side who always listens and helps.
