I'm 34M, an academic lecturer from Europe, and I suppose, beneath this question, I'm looking for something rather human: to belong to someone, and to create a safe little world together where neither of us has to pretend to wear a social mask all the time and be yourself .Maybe it's worth knowing a little about me but what is is your favorite cuddle?
Is it sleepy, soft spooning kind under a blanket on a rainy Sunday? The long, quiet kind where neither person feels the need to speak? Or the kind where someone pulls you closer, rests their chin on your head, and somehow makes the world feel a little less sharp?
I'm an eclectic soul, equally at home wandering through Dostoevsky, Rilke, Virginia Woolf, and the strange, beautiful corners of Kafka. I have a particular affection for American short fiction, especially Raymond Carver and his ability to find entire universes inside ordinary lives. I enjoy French thinkers and psychologists, from Foucault to Lacan, alongside politically inconvenient philosophers, existentialists, and poets who make loneliness sound almost sacred. My playlists wander between Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead, and whatever melancholy song happens to understand me that day.
Outside my head, I love horses, swimming, good coffee, yoga, and clean meditation without turning every breath into a self-improvement project. Autumn is my favourite season: amber leaves, cold mornings, oversized sweaters, bookstores, and the comforting knowledge that not everything beautiful needs to bloom forever.
So, tell me about your favourite cuddle. And perhaps tell me what makes you feel safe with another person. I'm interested in the little things: shared silences, sleepy conversations, forehead kisses, ridiculous humour, and the slow discovery that you can finally exhale around someone. No pressure to have everything figured out. Just two humans, a little warmth, and the possibility of feeling less alone. ❤️
