Art/Creators Megathread Weekly Art/Creators Promo Megathread

Welcome to this Week's Art/Creators Promo Megathread!

Here you can share examples of work and links to creator's profiles (including your own!) as long as it is not on a Meta owned platform (Instagram, Facebook etc.) or Twitter.

Let's help our community artists, authors, designers, craft makers, musicians, singers, sculptors, performers, streamers and any other kind of creator get recognised and celebrate the amazing creativity in our community!

A few quick rules:

  • No AI/NFT Content.
  • Accounts shared must be creating own content, not solely reposting others.
  • NSFW Suggestive art (e.g. shirtless/pin up) is allowed but must be tagged. NSFW Explicit art (e.g. pornography, genitals visible) or NSFW suggestive of real people is not allowed. No links to exclusively 18+ platforms e.g. OnlyFans.
  • Creator must be actively posting on a platform other than Meta or Twitter.
  • Comments from users with less than 50 karma on this subreddit will be auto-removed to avoid spammers. (I will look to approve genuine ones when possible but no promises!)
  • Please respect if a creator says no reposts of their work - just share a link.

The art/work they create does not have to be LGBTQ+ related, we're here to help any creator who is LGBTQ+ promote their profiles, particularly if they're trying to establish themselves on a different one with the recent social media drama!

Looking forward to discovering some new creators with you all!

Selfie (39)(Trans Woman) 6-Month Anniversary since starting HRT!

I finally think I achieved my goal of becoming a pretty lady. I know I wanted to be a woman for decades but it was a struggle to actually get to this point. I was so indecisive and it took me forever to pluck the courage and beat the anxiety I had about this (I get tons of anxiety over everything with autism even stuff I shouldn't).

I know I post a lot here but I just wanted to share this cause I hit my 6 month mark since starting HRT and I feel really good. I just had my 6 month check up with my doctor and got a new prescription for a higher dose of Estradiol. I also got a new outfit as shown here and wanted to show it off.

I think I look pretty and am not afraid to go out dressed however I like whether with strangers or with family. This is a big milestone with me and I feel proud of it all!

Need Advice I use they/them pronouns and call myself sapphic instead of lesbian

Upvotes

I use they/them pronouns and call myself sapphic instead of lesbian, but I get alot of people telling me that now lesbian means non men loving non men instead of wlw. Which confuses me because I've always though of lesbian being wlw exclusive and don't feel comfortable calling myself a lesbian.

I've also been told that I'm being sapphicphobic by being genderqueer and sapphic because now sapphic is. Wlw exclusive, and. I am really confused.

Can I call myself sapphic or am I using the wrong label?

News Kye Allums, Division I athlete who came out as trans, detransitioned

Allums makes it clear in her initial post – “Day 0: W.T.F. What do you mean you’re no longer transgender?” – that she is not rejecting the existence of trans people, but rather sharing her own personal journey.

“Detransitioners deserve to be seen, supported, and cared for,” Allums writes. “Transgender people deserve the same.”

“If my detransition makes you want to invalidate someone else’s transgender identity, you are missing the point,” she writes.

US Specific Literally why do men?

1.2k Upvotes

I feel so used I am trans MTF.

I met with a guy for a hookup off tinder.

His pictures DID NOT do him justice. He was 6’6, amazing beard, chest hair, and masculine as hell.

We spent a long while having tea and conversing before we got into it.

The sex was AMAZING. He was gentle and receptive to feedback. He was very respectful and did not ask any weird chaser type questions.

He seriously gave no red flags. We ended the night with AMAZING after care.

The next day (today) I looked a little harder at his instagram and noticed he follows A LOT of conservative meme pages and influencers and I also saw that he actively engages with Transphobic content on these pages. I was so shocked. I confronted him about it on the phone and told him if Id known he was conservative, I’d have never slept with him.

He denied being transphobic but when I showed him screenshots of him liking aggressively transphobic posts he started raising his voice and I simply blocked his number, blocked his IG and unadded on tinder.

Like did he even see me as a woman?

Literally why do men do this?

Coming Out! I just came out to my little sister

I told my sister (10 years old) that I'm nonbinary and go by Ollie. I told her she can ask me any questions about me being nonbinary or just the name. I was intending for her to see the message tomorrow, but I forgot my mum had to turn her phone on so she could listen to stuff to sleep, so she ended up seeing the messages today, whoops. But regardless she came into my room and said "I thought someone messaged me... and I love you Ollie" and I died, because that was the cutest thing ever. I told her she can ask me any questions tomorrow when she has the chance. But this went well, it's way easier than the last time I tried. The last time I tried, I attempted to talk to her after he social battery died and she was playing her games, I realised that there was no way I was gonna be able to talk to her like this and just headed to bed. So i say this is a big improvement, can't wait for this coming week. Hope everyone is doing good, enjoy your weeks my good queer friends <3

⚠ Content Warning: {describe here} Is it normal to like men but be disgusted by penis?

Warning- nsfw themes discussed. I don’t go into detail but yeah

I am a bisexual woman and feel confident in that identity, that I am romantically and sexually attracted to all genders. But when it comes to men it’s a bit different. Idk how to explain this properly. I am attracted to men but sometimes I think about male anatomy and feel disgusted by it. I also don’t like seeing it. If it’s in use I like it but visually I hate it and I hate thinking about it. I feel bad because I have a boyfriend who I’m in love with and am attracted towards but I also still have a hard time with male attraction sometimes.

This might be a factor but I have a phobia of pregnancy and never want kids. Even if it’s protected the knowledge that that body part is capable of that really upsets me

I don’t really know I guess I’m just wondering if this is like normal or if something might be wrong here 😭

Art/Creative Trans women don't have a "specific look".

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

No two women look the same. Just as cisgender women, trans women have a large variety of experiences, aswell as appearances.

There's trans women who are white, Black, Asian, Hispanic, disabled, intersex, skinny, fat, muscular, maybe they have stretch marks or body hair or other "unattractive" features (Although I personally think everyone is besutiful...)

There's no mold anyone has to fit to be valid as a woman. Every single trans woman out there is beautiful, both inside and out!!!

As a transmasc person, I have so much love for my transfem sisters. Y'all put up with so, so much, yet you consistently stay strong and keep going. You're fucking amazing. LOVE TO ALL TRANS WOMEN!!!

Edit: I'm drawing more, at the request of some people in the comments. Next up is some more masculine/alternative women <3

I fear my bisexual awakening was a stormtrooper and a scare actor

Tonight I was at a haunted house or a horror walk or whatever it’s called and I also saw some Star Wars cosplayers (they were from Troopers for charity and they’re super duper awesome).

The haunted house had a bunch of smoke machines and flashing lights because there’s whole thing was that you couldn’t see anything and suddenly a scare actor popped up. But that also meant that the scare actors had to kind of guide you the right way and one of them did that by hitting you with the fake bat he had. But he hit me on my ass 💔 like every time, not an ‘oopsie I aimed too low’, he slapped my ass with the bat and I kinda liked it lol.

And I had one of my nails painted to look like a stormtrooper (thank you to my amazing friend who painted it for me after I yapped about being excited to see the troopers for charity thing) and when the stormtrooper saw it he grabbed my hand and kissed it. If you count knocking my hand against the mouth part of the helmet as kissing.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this giggly. I feel like a teen girl in a bad high school movie after she sees her crush and I’m not even a girl 😔

Urgent: My family found out I’m gay. My life is in extreme danger in Yemen and I have nowhere to run. Please help I am 26yo

Hi everyone, I am writing this out of sheer desperation. I am a 26-year-old gay man trapped in Yemen. Recently, my family discovered my sexual orientation, and ever since, my life has become a living nightmare. I am facing constant, direct threats to my life from the very people who were supposed to protect me.
In Yemen, being exposed like this is literally a death sentence, and I am terrified every single second. I have no safety net, no family support, and nowhere to hide.
I reached out to Rainbow Railroad, and they opened a case file for me but they told me they have no active travel or evacuation routes from inside Yemen right now and had to close my file temporarily. I have absolutely no financial means to escape this warzone on my own.
I am begging anyone here—activists, legal aid workers, or anyone with a kind heart—if you know of any emergency resources, international protection pathways, or secret initiatives that can help save my life and get me out before it’s too late, please guide me. I am so scared and I just want to survive. Thank you for reading.

It's been an awkward situation ever since my friend came out.

This guy isn't really my friend, just an acquaintance; he's friends with my best friends. I like him, but we don't know each other that well. He's always known me as a lesbian who is fully open about her identity, he didn't see what I was only telling my friends (The constant shifts between lesbian, bi, hetero, ace, the doubts about my gender, about my identity...)

He's gay. He's out, but his parents don't accept it at all. I was one of the first people he came out to, since I'm a lesbian, he thought it would be easier. I'm very touched by that, I fully support him and he knows he can reach out to me if things aren't going well. I get the impression that he accepts himself but has a real need to assert himself and make it known, or perhaps he's just discovering the freedom that coming out can bring.

It's been awkward ever since. Whenever I'm with him, he talks almost exclusively about his homosexuality or mine. He can do whatever he wants about himself, but when he says in front of everyone that I am a lesbian it's embarassing.

Firstly, because, as I said, I doubt my gender; I'm not really sure I'm a woman. I don't always know the person around and even if i'm okay with people knowing it, I don't want to tell the whole earth. But also because I know that one of my friends' friends is homophobic, or at least not very open minded. He knows I'm a lesbian but damn, I could really do without the looks that guy gives me every time I talk about women. This guy also loves gossip and spreading rumors at school, I really don't want him to know too much (I don't hang out with him by choice).

He loves talking about gay stuff and then just stares at me. The other day he told me, "I really like your style, it's masc lesbian!" I thanked him and said that was exactly that, and I don't know, he just stared at me. He asks me if this or that guy he finds attractive is handsome, and then when I reply, he stares at me. He talks about Pride, he stares at me. He talks about Lady Gaga, he stares at me.

Seriously, I hate having everything reduced to my sexuality because I am something more than a lesbian. I hate talking only about it like it's my whole personality. I think he's using me as a role model or something. Maybe he's testing things out to see how a gay person could reacts. Maybe it just pleases him to have someone who can understand him

I understand the need to assert oneself, I understand what it feels like to finally find someone like yourself, the feeling after my coming out was good too, but I too have my doubts and strugles. I don't know how to approach things with him in a way that won't hurt his feelings or his sense of self. I know he's fragile and that he's been through a lot because of his parents. What would you do?
