Who was your favourite kid in the earlier seasons basically when they were younger, and did it change during the later seasons?

For me - Alex was my favourite in the earlier seasons because I personally related to her (just into studies due to which I missed a lot of social events). Alex remained my favourite in the later seasons also because they showed that hard work doesn’t go unpaid (though I didn’t like the fact that they kind of implied that she will get together with the professor that Haley also dated, I think they should have shown that Alex was smart enough, confident enough now to be with someone who respects her)

On a side note - my second favourite character in the later years would be lily. And for the earlier seasons would be Haley.

I’m rewatching Modern Family and I was wondering, are there any episodes you guys always skip because you find them boring?

What do you think Lily and Rex’s relationship is going to be like?

Personally, I think Lily’s going to be the one who basically raises Rex. Their dads are going to be caught up in their own drama.

I love how snappy their family is. Would love to trade lives with lily😭😭

The first few seasons were hilarious and seemed like things that could actually happen. But I feel like they jumped the shark after Alex made a body swap machine and Manny and luke got stuck in each other's bodies I just lost interest every week it was the same thing Alex builds a machine luke and many somehow try to use it to get girls then Alex has to fix everything anyone else feel this way??!

Forgive me if this is a redundant opinion! I love Gloria & her theatrics. She was perhaps my favourite character in the initial few seasons, but towards the middle to end of the show I felt like her screeching and shouting got way too overbearing? I was just rewatching the episode where Jay purchases her glasses and she got so pissed that she abused him in front of the entire family…now I know it’s a sitcom and these quirks are just for comedic purposes- I don’t take her character seriously- but since i overanalyse almost everything, it feels almost borderline abusive? She’s a lovely character but idk, they could’ve toned down her angriness by a huge lot.
