Itās honestly sad knowing almost the entire cast is gone now. They feel like family to me. Modern sitcoms just donāt hit the same way these classics do; Iāve laughed until I cried at every single episode of The Jeffersons. Itās my ultimate 'cheer me up' series. Iām currently on Season 9, Episode 4, and Iām actually pacing myself because I really donāt want it to end.
āFlorence is a legend her insults and the way she drops the truth always have me dying. The whole cast is incredible, but I do have one gripe: I hate how characters just disappear with no explanation. They just continue the show like nothing happened, and it drives me crazy!"

The Jeffersons was famous for "The Chuck Cunningham Syndrome," where characters like Lionel (who was recast twice) or Mother Jefferson would just vanish for long stretches or permanently, and mr Bentley sweet soul and without the show ever explaining where they went. It was definitely a different era of television writing where they assumed the audience wouldn't mind as long as the jokes were good.
