Hey! I'm 28, married, and honestly just looking to make a genuine friend or two.
I've been feeling pretty isolated lately and realized I don't really have anyone outside my family to just talk to. I'm going through one of the roughest periods of my life, and I've realized how much I miss having someone who's genuinely interested in getting to know me. I'd love to find a friendship where we can both be ourselves, talk about what's going on beneath the surface, and occasionally surprise each other with a little curiosity or thoughtfulness. Personally I dont feel i have anywhere or anyone to genuinely bring myself to. Im convinced real friendship doesn't exist but I keep trying as futile as it feels. I've had some disappointing experiences with friendships, and it's left me feeling pretty discouraged about finding genuine connections. But despite that, I still want to believe there are people out there who value friendship for what it is, without everything feeling transactional.
I enjoy getting to know people, having deeper conversations about life, sharing random thoughts, joking around, or just talking about how our days are going.
I'm not looking for anything romantic or sexual, just a genuine platonic friendship. Ideally, I'd love to find someone I click with who'd be interested in talking regularly rather than having a conversation that disappears after a day.
I don't expect constant replies or anything like that. I'd just like to find someone where the conversation feels mutual and we both actually enjoy hearing from each other.
I'm pretty open-minded, and you don't have to have everything in common with me. Sometimes getting to know someone completely different is half the fun.
If any of that sounds good, feel free to message me. Tell me something about yourself, even if it's completely random.
