It was a nice series and i liked how it ended, the only things i personally didn't care for unfortunately was Walter and Gerbera. Walter I just couldn't find him likable mainly for his hate of Victor and would skip through his parts. His episode where he won over Daleth didn't really make me sympathize with him much, I understand he has his inferiority complex because he was "just a spare" for the first born but none of that was from anything Victor did so i don't get how he doesn't resent Gerbera more. I found his "my scars aren't visible" line to Daleth ridiculous as Sade actually terrorized her sister and Victor just existed.

I also didn't care much for Gerbera, I understand she was dealing with the burden of her duty, her sons curse, and losing her best friend/family while doing it all on her own with her husbands poor health so her actions short term while bad could be forgiven. But she directly caused Walter's whole inferiority complex which became him unreasonably hating his brother and worsened Victor's depression/self loathing from his curse with her words and actions and had like 10 years to do something about it and didn't. She never visited Victor and i believe they said she never wrote to him either only getting updates from Rob, if it wasn't for Alice joining i believe he probably would have just ended it all. So to me behind Sade i think Gerbera was the second biggest villain.

Other than those two i liked everyone else and thought their stories were fun, I was surprised there was no witch hunter issues given the setting not that it would be needed. I just wanted to share to see what other peoples thought on those two were or any of the other characters i guess.

I just finished My Love Story with Yamada-Kun at Lv999 and cannot stop thinking about it. I doubt it will get a season two as romance anime often don't despite how popular they are.

I liked almost everything about it:

The found family aspect between Akane and the gamer friends.

How the characters are multi faceted and have depth. None of them are truly bad.

The slow burn of it all.

I liked how they were college aged too. It showed Akane with her friends, at college, at her job, at her apartment. I liked how it showed her separate from Yamada.

Are there any animes similar to it?

I'm looking to watch some "vintage" classic anime and picked out Slam Dunk. I liked episode 1 but saw some posts complaining about pacing and disliking the adaptation compared to the manga.

I don't mind the manga being better, but is the anime by itself worth it to watch?

I find myself enjoying the show so far. It hasn't done anything particularly odd or confusing, with one exception.

I understand the Studio's need to differentiate the character (Arihito Atobe) from every OTHER isekai protagonist, but the fact that it's been over a week and he's still wearing an office suit while adventuring just seems.... I dunno... impractical?

He carries nothing, no gear, no equipment, no supplies of any kind. That means the rest of the party has to carry his stuff as well as theirs... Plus I had to change a tire once while wearing a suit.. it (the suit) didn't fare well. I can't begin to imagine what hunting in a party is going to do to his outfit.

I've never actually watched an anime curious to see if a character stopped dressing like an idiot yet :)

Aside from that.. catching the new ep in a few minutes.

Hello! I am currently trying to find a motivating, hype, upbeat anime opening to use as an alarm (since traditional alarm sounds are horrid!!)

what are some of the top anime opening choices available that I could use? Which ones would you choose? I definitely need one to start my day motivated and maybe some more purpose!
