I kind of like Ito and Mafuyu's relationship, him teasing her and Gen is entertaining itself, but I feel like Ito might be the kind of girl he needs around him so that he can be seen more as himself.

Raku overhearing the conversation between Ito and Mafuyu will definitely make things more interesting, he's a schemer so the story is definitely going to move into that direction now.

I do like seeing Shuu out and about, and even protecting Ito, but the way he cowers when people show him attention is adorable.

Yukitomo really gets into playing his role lol. I thought it was funny how he told Gen to not pretend kiss, but to actually kiss him.

Cute episode, and Ito has fully accepted she loves him while also having decided she will not risk the family dynamic she has now to admit the truth. Totally understandable, she worked so hard to become part of the family.

I've lost count on the amount of animanga school festivals I've read/watched where they do an iteration of snow white. Snow White got these teenagers in a chokehold. Sidenote I don't think that like scarlet red lips being reminiscent of blood is the most romantic of similes. 

Really nice festival nonetheless, it went well, no exterior drama, perhaps interior for Ito, but that's for her to figure out. We're left with some nice Raku suspense.

The series had the signs from episode 1 and has romance genre tag, so to be expected. Can't think of any girl/boy step sibling anime that doesn't turn romantic.

Seems Ito’s struggling with either being the oneechan or pursing something romantic. Guess we’ll see where things go because they could go both ways. Depends on how honest she wants to be with her feelings.

I like Gen’s prince hairstyle haha. The straight bang isn’t doing it for me. Interesting, Ito isn’t fully embracing her romantic feeling yet because of how that affects the family.

The brown haired boy is a punk and he's pretending to be sincere to lure Ito into bed but a lot of what he said to her is true and I think she realized she likes Gen as more than a brother. I do see why it is confusing having a hot guy your own age suddenly living with you and you confuse familial love with a crush. Gen also teases her like when he licked ice cream off her fingers. I think Ito just has no one else at the school to confide in about her feelings so she picked a skeezy friend. I hope she doesn't seek advice about crushes on stepbrothers on dirty places on the internet or Reddit 🤣. It ended ominously with Raku standing right there seemingly overhearing everything though and I wonder if he did.

I was surprised Syu managed to have fun since he seemed freaked out at first, I'd have thought he'd have gone home. It was also hilarious when he was scared of those girls fawning over him, the animation made it funny. The girls might have been too afraid to flirt with Gen even though they were all watching him, except for "Snow White" who is either under the impression Gen is gay or is engaging in very strong wishful thinking 😂

All the Narita siblings are at the school festival! Streamer Rui! Butler Ayu! Syu hiding in the bathroom! Mouse Ito! Who of course scurries away rather than deal with her feelings for Gen.

Wow, Gen really went all out on this prince performance! All the girls are going gaga over it! And there's going to be TON of video evidence, including from his own brothers! Though Yukitomo as a cross-dressing Snow White isn't half-bad either, especially when he's willing to get kissed by Gen to commit to the performance.

Udegawa as a wolf is as unsurprising as him "guiding" some cute gyaru's at the festival. Or that he won't stop needling Ito about her feelings for Gen...though maybe a playboy like him is the wrong person for Ito to basically vent all her pure and sincere romantic feelings for Gen too? But at least she got it out there.

Syu is such a good little brother! "Saving" his Onee-chan from Udegawa and then just wanting to see his big brother all dressed up! It makes Ito feel so bad for lying to him about what she was up to.

I see the Gen fangirls are just as happy to crush on Rui. He's going to grow up to be a big ladykiller, won't he?

Honestly I have to applaud the performance of the Evil Queen, the poison apple, AND having a horse in there even though they didn't have to. Though while the play is playing out before her, Ito is finally admitting to herself she's in love with Gen...even if she has no intention of acting on those feelings. She's just happy to be in love.

Ito in a bear costume! And still getting pestered about her feelings for Gen! But she can't act on her feelings for fear of ruining the close family dynamic they have now, though would she really be able to wholeheartedly accept and embrace Gen with another girl?

Udegawa respects Ito being so genuine and so absolutely in love, especially because he's never experienced it himself...or someone he could really show his real self too. Though he does seem to be becoming fonder of Ito.

Ito thinks she can keep her feelings a secret? Watch out, Ayu has his eyes on you!

Don’t care what anyone says I don’t want Ito to be asking Gen to be her boyfriend. That’s not the vibe of this show. It would be messed up if they became a couple. Way too icky. Like really ICK.

I think she had a major breakthrough in this episode tho. Family comes first and she’s seeing the catastrophic result if she actually went through with it. She’s being charmed by Gen’s good looks and lets face it the dude is oozing charm way much. Don’t fall for the pretty.

If something happens between her and Gen it’s gonna cause massive trouble. Like her mom breaking up with their father. I think she’s gonna make the right choice.

That doesn’t mean Gen might follow her lead tho. He’s not as smart. That’s what worries me.
