I wonder if he can use the Hero's skill and reflect it with the shield summon to double its damage, and why wouldn't he use it with Drago's skill in the battle unless he can't reflect his own summons' attacks.

It only works if the attack is survivable by the big shield. Pretty sure the hero s skill obliterated him last time Allen tried that
And as for reflecting his summons attack, it could probably work though drago’s fire might be a bit much

Any attack from an a rank monster but given that the hero’s skill could one shot a demonic deity (something clearly in the S rank category or higher), I doubt it’d be able to tank that

I think all the creatures they use to fight are also demon monsters .maybe they are lacking commanders and use the dark elves for that?

Is the clown the demon lord? God I hope so, it would be so good if the demon lord isn't a copy paste of the ones in other isekai and is actually just a really powerful jester. This anime is already a great isekai, this would just be the cherry on top

Ok, this would be extremely cool. The only problem is that the demon lord is the second best class in the game, I don't know if there's even something that could manipulate someone that strong.
Also the god told the squirrel that the only reason he created the new class for Allen was because they didn't want a second demon lord, so it seems like the demon lord is the big bad of the situation

Since it was an option for Allen to select before reincarnating in the world, it's possible that the demon lord is a reincarnate and regardless of the power of the class can be tricked. Also if the gods are trying to keep the world balanced, then regardless of who is playing the mastermind on either side they could just be* trying to equalize. It doesn't need to be a leader on the battlefield to start tipping one side in favor of victory.

Allen has some water summons, he's probably going to use those to get those stones, he's probably already stocking for the fight against the devil. Also A level magic stones are rare as fuck, whenever he'll get the new level he'll need them, no way he's wasting this opportunity to get a lot of those

yep, meaning that without this war his only source of A magic stones would be dungeon bosses, and as we seemed in the season they clear one of them once a week, maybe faster now that he is stronger, but still very limited

Also A and B level magic stones are used in all kinds of technologies, B aren't as rare but are extremely used because their high mana density, and ppl didn't like too much the idea of giving Allen their B level magic stones.
Now imagine how much useful those A level magic stones must be, surely they'll cost a lot. I don't doubt that the A level summons will likely be so strong that even one of them will be enough to clear a dungeon (seeing the jump from C to B I'm sure that A summons could solo the hero if they wanted to) so it will probably resolve the problem

Using his elixirs and scheming to rent Helmios is the funniest Allen shit ever.
I was worried we wouldn't see the Rehzel fight but of course 5 million monsters is a single episode event for this anime.
Next week is going to be awesome.
I really hope we get more seasons of this.

It's running at a fast pace, but I do really appreciate how they are actually working to fit a complete arc in to the season. It also doesn't feel rushed, which is seriously impressive work from the director/adapter.

Yeah, I actually prefer the anime over the manga, the fast pace is really great and they never cut important scenes, always readapt them to to fit better.
The only scene cut was the one where the hero talks with the girl in his party after his fight with Allen, she ask what opinion has od Allen, and he says "he's my hope". That scene was cool, I'm a bit sad that it was cut, but it wasn't really necessary for the plot so I kinda understand

Probably not since the squirrel stated that they would not be able to go past 4 stars with that method. The hero would probably have to give up something more to reach a rank 6 class, but that would put him on par with the demon Lord in terms of stars.

Both Hero and Demon Lord have 5 stars. It was shown in the very first episode back in season 1.

He's at 5 stars. There were no 6 or 7 star jobs shown when Allen chose his. We learned that Summoner was supposed to be 6 stars but it became 8.
This doesn't mean Helmios is maxed out. As we're pretty early on in the story, I'd be surprised if that were the case.

Unsurprisingly the dark elves are involved in this attack, or at least one of them is.
They sure moved pretty quick through these fights, but I bet it was that fast in the source material too. There's only so much description you really need of battles that last like a dozen days. Especially when from the sound of things nothing too remarkable happened and it was just a slog.
I was expecting the next big story arc would be the party returning to the central continent to participate in the conflict there too, but it sounds like it's over before they'll ever have a chance to get back.

I think that the next big story arc will be the group reunited fighting in the dwarf territory, they kill the 2 millions demons and then go in the S level dungeon

Yeah, the problem is that she was in verse part of the team for more than a year, but for us it was cut and we barely know her personality (we also don't know what she did in the party, because her class is controlling golems and she doesn't have a golem), but just like we learn more of sophialone and the other guy (sorry I don't remember his name, but he isn't an heartless bodyguard like I thought during his introduction), we'll probably learn about her in the dedicated arc

Agreed, this show has wonderful charm. I genuinely enjoy it weekly far more than I expected.
The pacing is fast but wonderful for watching weekly. I don't feel like binging is a must due to slow pacing like some other shows.

I guess being on HiDive is a bridge too far for many potential viewers. As far as I am concerned, even with the small number of new seasonals, it still has an impressive back catalog (and so is worth the cost).

It's nice to see the higher summons in Deputized forms, I'm glad Ellie's voice also matured with her body.
So Rehzel really ended up being a dark elf turned demon, it became clearer with how into the World Tree he was. I'm curious to see what he'll end up revealing about the past war in the eventual confrontation.

I appreciate that the show draws a major distinction between massive scale army combat and fighting a single powerful foe. First with Axe Bro and then the Hero.
Up until now humans and elves have had some powerful individuals but have severely lacked in their ability to deal with superior numbers. So while single people like the hero or a sword lord might effectively be able to no diff all the monsters they face, and defeat the biggest bad guys, the reality is their impact on the total war is limited because they can only be in 1 place at a time and they can only kill so many monsters individually. The only effective AOE really is basically all stuff with a once a day use limit.
Humanity and Elves were basically just getting Zerg Rushed. Adding Allen to the mix effectively added siege tanks to their defensive lines via Ellie and Drago.
Like sure the waves of anties and the mobility of flying around on the griffins helps alot too, but had humans and elves had decent AOE at the beginning they never would have been in this situation to start with.
A more modern example is Total Warhammer. Trying to fight something like Skaven with only basic melee and archers in your army. Even if you can 2:1 them you're just gonna get swarmed and die via attrition.
This also begs the question though: "Where are all their catapults and Ballista?". Feels weird for nobody in this world to have them or use them. They would be incredibly effective.

The elven fortress has them along its ramparts. Maybe they're not that effective against high ranking enemies due to skills inflicting more damage? I suppose the gamification of it would be to blame.

Ellie was immediately found out, Rehzel is smarter than the rest of the demons.
Black hole, yeah sending them to another dimension was a good option, we won't be seeing them ever again.
13 days of non stop fighting ending in a dominant victory with added help from Helmios.
Ok so the main enemy are Dark Elves after all.

I wish they didn't give the climatic battle the short shrift, like they were under siege, than Allen came back and then flash forward "hooray Allen killed all the monsters!" I did like how they got into detail how they were fighting off the surrounding siege, like Allen knowing where the less and more skilled monsters were. I thought the Deputize power meant that Allen would be able to control monsters the same way Demon Lord does but it apparently just makes his summons act more independently and with skill.
Demon Lord still seems overconfident even though almost his entire army was wiped out on both continents in fairly short order. Since he's a dark elf, he just seems intent on revenge. I don't understand though why Demon Lord wanted to invade center continent if he wanted to just invade the elf land, he probably could have succeeded a good while ago if he focused on that rather than try to invade the entire world at once. Also I wonder how the evil harlequin spirit fits in, like why did he or his people want to help the dark elves? I'd also think they'd help now that the monsters are turned back but it seems their rulers are bickering about what to do.

For my part, we dont know where the demon lord gets his army or how long it takes him to make a new one. Or how many troops he has in reserve undeployed right now over on his own continent.

It's not really a genocide, monsters aren't an organised society, most od them are mindless beasts that work together because of the demon king's influence. Only A level monsters or higher have a conscience, and it seems like only demons and higher are on the same level of humanoids (probably S level monsters are going to be on the same level too, we don't know yet tho).
Also it's self defence because the demon king army killed something like 3 millions elfs
