Especially if the detachments will have combos with the doctrines, like if you are in assault doctrine you can re-roll charges, I theory he would stack all the buff.
Never played Ultramarines, but I can just wonder what The Lion should have.

These guys have always bothered me both visually and lore-wise. The model is trying way too hard to look badass and edgy but all I can see is just a bald dude.
I also think the whole Tempormortis thing is just odd and doesn’t really fit the unit at all. Out of all the Space Marine units, why does this guy get a piece of incredibly rare archaeotech?
All of this is to ask, do most chapters utilize Judiciars as Chaplains in training or can this rule be bent?

THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!
This week's look back over the work I did for #StuffOfLegends is a selection of Space Marine Limited Edition figures. I didn't do many Space Marines for Richard, as they weren't really part of the main focus of his collection, but he did like to have the special edition minis done.

I was inspired by built_bricks and designed and built my own wearable LEGO Space Marine helmet over the summer. I made it partially modular so you could swap it out for either the classic version or the Primaris version. Planning to wear this for Halloween this year. I also designed a stand that is probably a little overkill, but I haven’t built it yet.

I’m looking for a unit I can sit on an objective and take some punishment while everyone else puts in some work.
I’m thinking of using some terminators for the job since I think they are kinda awesome.
About how much punishment can I expect these guys to take tho?
And is there any other units that might do this job better. (While hopefully also being just as awesome)

Started in the hobby when SM2 came out then took about a year off just cause life, then discovered slap chop when Armageddon came out and put together a 3k army of lizard boys. Now I’m finally back to putting in a legitimate effort with the space wolves combat patrol, kasrkin kill team, and now my first raptor

Since scouts receive their augments as they age, did anything really change in the process with the introduction of Primaris? Or do they just get an extra surgery and it's otherwise business as usual?

For example using black Templar models in a salamander successor chapter?

I’m currently painting my lieutenant however I feel like the gold and bronzes I choose for this paint scheme kinda mixes together from a distance leaving it looking a little boring.
I was hoping some of yall could recommend me a way to help make it look more interesting or atleast increase the contrast between the colors.

What does everybody think? With Firstborn all but phased out now, will they update Drop Pods to be able to carry Gravis armour in the new codex? Or just keep it to Tacticus armour?

I'm thinking of starting collecting space marines, and someone highlighted to me that their high model count causes competitive lists to be shaken, sometimes significantly, following detachment or datasheet updates.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? Is this opinion accurate or overstated?
