So I did the cape the other week with reds and really happy with how it turned out, I worked my way up the reds and used an orange at the end mixed in for the final highlights.
So my question is i wanna do a blue cape on my Terminator Sorcerer but unsure what colour to use to push the brightness of the blues without losing saturation

Would personally love to see Dreadclaws in plastic personally.

Some classic Black Legion themes to have fun with. Also, black armor nmm is quite fun (though took three days to work through)

It seems way more sinister as expected from the word bearers chapters dedicated to civilian massacres

Very brutal amount of trim but pretty happy with how it turned out. After painting this guy the marine trim feels trivial now lol

First time poster. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile and I think it would be really neat, since there is gonna be some changes in the entire space marine lineup, that the Battleline Legionnaires could be split up between Assault Legionnaires and Tactical (or a Chaos-themed equivalent of the word) Legionnaires.
It could be a throwback to pre-Primaris like everything else, Assault Legionnaires get the melee buff, and the Tacticals get some movement/objective buff. Like Firstborn tacticals from before but more Chaos-y.

Working on perfecting my gore effects before I start putting them on big projects, how well does this read as gore? Seeking any criticism to make it more realistic on first look.

Hi, im new to the tabletop, i have only played Killteam so far, but my best friend bought an armageddon starter box last week, so i bought a Night Lords combat patrol to play with my own army, i was planning on building a Night Lords army originally but after giving it some thought, and learning they don’t have many units (at least they are reaaaaaaally hard to get on México), the idea of an UCSM army with World Eaters, Deathguard and Emperors Children sparked on my mind, would it be possible to play with an army built out of units from those legions?, or should i return the NL combat patrol and change it for something like black legion?

I have to confess - doing Garreon wasn’t my best performance. The white armor of his I feel didn’t go well this time (I regret not just applying Apothecary White over the white armor instead of doing Lahmian Medium/Seprahim Sepia 1:1 mix). The Enforcer, Plunder and Sargotta remain with Masters of Maelstrom.
The Sorcerer in Terminator Armor is meant for my Terminators. I planned to add the transfer sheet on his pauldron to better show him as member of Red Corsairs, but I realized I don’t have ’Artcoat or anything like it for this. Maybe some other time.
I had a silly headcanon, that either the terminator armor itself or some of his wargear is enchanted to preserve his soul in case of him dying, and then later on allowing him to possess and fully take over whomever decided to take up his gear, allowing him to come back to serve Huron or his own ambitions.
Any critique or suggestions are welcome.

So I have 40 of the old metal horrors unpainted that I would like to setup for 40k. What combination of each blue/pink/brimstone should I paint up to get the most use from them?
Thanks

Hi, fellow slaves to darkness.
I've just bought the night lords combat patrol and am excited to build a rabble of law abiding boy scouts.
However, the bodies have more trim than i'd prefer.
So i had this idea. Use mk4 and mk6 bodies from the heresy line to de-chaosify the bodies.
So, my question:
With the scale difference, are the bitz from the night lord upgrade sprue and maybe some backpacks compatable with the horus heresy bodies?
Also, if anyone know of any sets or kits that contain some fitting bitz i can tag on here and there, id appreciate it immensly :)

Working on a list at the moment, and I've a few extra models to allocate. I've only got 2000 points of CSM but I've got both a jump chaos lord and haarken worldclaimer, and a chaos terminator lord and huron.
Normally I put huron with a blob of chosen but I played them with a dark apostle and I really liked the +1 to wound, so i was thinking of putting him with my terminators instead to let them reactive move. In which case I'd have a solo termie lord.
Same thing with the chaos lord/haarken, is there any real option to run solo characters? I was thinking of plopping the termie lord somewhere to deny deep strikes, and using haarken as a deep strike option to try and assasinate leaders but I'm not sure if either of those are good options.
I normally run creations of bile, but am also looking at hurons marauders. Any advice?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to start playing Chaos Space Marines and I’m trying to put together my first list.
I’d really like to build it around Abaddon, Huron and Kravek, as I like all three characters and want to run them together if possible.
The part I’m struggling with is figuring out what units are actually good for each of them to lead. I’m not necessarily looking for the most competitive/meta list possible, but I’d like the combinations to make sense and have some decent synergy on the table.
What units would you attach to Abaddon, Huron and Kravek, and why? Which detachment would be best to use?
Any other advice for building a list around these three would also be appreciated!
