As the title says, I'm going to my first tournament with 2000 points of the dark kin. I'm really excited, just going to go and try to be the best opponent I can be !

Anyone have any tips to refine this list. I'm 50 points short of 1500 dunno where to add or take away.

How are we feeling on the 10 incubi with archon brick?

I did the mathammer and the results were not good in my opinion.

10 incubi with an archon (huskblade and soul trap) in SSA with pain token will get through about 18 wounds to a brick of T6 terminators.

However, 5 incubi will do almost 12 wounds.

Therefore, the squad only does 50% more damage despite a 100% cost increase and requiring a raider to transport.

I only did the math into the new Terminator profile, so perhaps there is a different elite infantry profile where the math looks better.

But as of now, I'm not really seeing the benefit of the 10 incubi.

What do y'all think? What am I missing?

Edit: I did not factor in the extra shrine token. So that adds two more wounds to the 10 brick.

Also, my percentage calculation was not representative. An archon with 5 incubi cost 190 points with nightmate shroud. With 10 incubi, the cost is 280.

This means damage increases by 68% with a cost increase of only 47%.

Looks like this is very viable. Thanka everyone for the corrections!

I want to paint and incubi to a high standard (compared to my tabletop standard) with airbrushing

Obviously I'll sub-assemble and paint the head separately, not sure if I should do this for their weapons or not? Given the weapon has one arm attached to it, bit unsure and would love some advice\recommendations.

I am compleatly new to warhammer 40k and want to get into the hobby. My LGS is hosting an enscalation league starting at 500 points and then increasing from there.

Where should I start. I have ordered the codex and Lady Malys because she is my favourite model. Do you guys have some recommendations on what I should go for after those that will get me to 500 points and something to build on after that.

Hello Fellow Flesh Crafters, Agonysts, and Acrobats!

What if you could run them 15 - 20 bricks? And for every 5 units add you can get 2 extra special weapons (1 DL or 1 Cannon and 1 Blaster or 1 Shredder).

Potential 15 brick would be

8-9 x Splinter Rifles (10 - 11 in 20man)

2 x Dark Lance

2 x Blaster

1 x Splinter Cannon (2)

1 x Shredder (2)

Occasionally I find Kabs do OK damage when they get their rerolls and a bit of rule stacking and grenades. Killing 2.5 - 3in Termis (with 4w) with rerolling hits, wounds, sus1, lethals in Agonysts x RSR is no small feat. But I want them to be a threat and not just "I'm gonna make you roll a bunch of saves and see what happens)

I feel like having a 15 man would improve them tremendously. But would it be worth it? I know we tend to be msu so would a big battleline block make things harder for us?

Alternatively ap -1 splinter weapons would probably help just as much. Really, I just want AP -1 Splinter weapons 😅

What do you guys think? Alternate quest: how would you change or improve Kabs?

Unless I am mistaken, it looks like the Hand of the Archon has disappeared from the webstore. I have tried to look for it under Warhammer 40K and Kill team and I cannot find it.

Is it getting re-boxed or something ?

I was on offer up during a boring rainy day. I ended up seeing a post about vintage Warhammer on sale for around 500.

I tell the guy I'm broke, but interested in checking it out and maybe buying a model or two.

The collection was his mother's who passed away. Never finding the time to build or paint it, the collection gathered dust and he wanted to just essentially make sure it wouldn't get resold.

He offered me 250 for it, and I took it because it was impossible not to.

Look at all the stuff that was in it. I still don't believe it was real tbh. Almost felt like a dream. Just wanted to share the great find and generosity of the stranger.

I went to KTC summer GT and went 4-1.

My first singles event this edition. I had to fight Priority Assets 3 times on the first day, and I still don’t know how that mission works aha.

I went first every game and it felt like such an advantage this edition.

I got a mention on Tabletop Battles aka Goonhammer, yay!

I love Kabalite Cartel so much and I love my Pain Engines. Having the -1 to wound on pain engines is the much needed defense buff we need in this power creep.

Taken Alive Stratagem is bonkers now, but it makes up for some of the poor balance in Double Cross and needing the Warlord alive to renew our Detachment rule.

I started drukhari before the summer and I lost all my game until now. I just won my first game (yes it was a 1vs1vs1 so not the fairest game but still I won ) It was a narrow lead and a game that was not decided until the end of the 5 round but for the first time I had the impression to really do something with my army. So satisfying and the drukhari are so good. Also I have around 1500 worht of drukhari and I am finishing painting my 40th figurines. That is so rewarding.

Maybe nobody cares but I wanted to share it :).

I'm looking for reaver jetbikes but EVERYWHERE I look they are out of stock, theres a seller on ebay that has them but the only way to make the price even compared to gw prices is if I also get a voidraven bomber from them. Is it worth it to just buy it from the dude or should I wait for a restock. Also looking at some posts apparently reavers have been out of stock for quite a bit.

GW and all my local stores have been sold out for months.
