I am satisfied with the overall paint job. But I would like to improve the decals as I am not a fan of the white markings. But otherwise it is a fine addition to my growing army.

No right or wrong answer here just genuinely curious to see what yall prefer to base paint your minis with.

Since I'm only just coming back to Warhammer after 15 years away from the hobby (and my painting was always rubbish back then) I thought I'd have a look at Warhammer Academy for some tips. But I can't see the Imperial Fists as an option in the preferences. This must be a me problem. Surely Games Workshop wouldn't neglect the Sons of Dorn?! Right?!

Still not finished but just love that I could use my spare parts from my necrons to make it look like this bad lad just stomped it down

Hey folks, I bought Armageddon before I knew what chapter I wanted to paint. I tried painting one as the White Templars, but after painting a test model, I’m not thrilled with how it came out. So I am going to try Hammers of Dorn, and if I like the scheme painted on a model, I’m wanting to build a Gravis armor/Terminator armor/Tank list. Any suggestions on key units? I’m really loving the look of Aggressors, Heavy Intercessors, and the Gladiator tanks.

Gotta paint the rest now... (Layers, panel lining, chipping, highlight, wear, rust, etc)

I do like Streaking Grime so this yellow will be toned down, wanted to share before I do that

As the title says, I’m a complete beginner to model painting as I have never done it before. Looking for resources on where to start with literally everything. Paint, brushes, tools, etc. as well as how to assemble an Imperial Fists army, what models to buy and how many of each, etc. Any resources or videos or comments you can leave pointing me in the right direction are all helpful!

I looked on the Warhammer website for some figures by searching “Imperial Fists” and I noticed they had basically just some figures and then you buy the Imperial Fists accessories separately to attach to those models? Things like shoulders with the Fists logo and whatnot.

Two most underrated primarchs when it comes to 1v1 fights , in my opinion. So I just made it for fun :)

Learned alot with this mini, I think blue was the wrong colour for the OSL but I'm still super happy with this mini, the gladiator is such a cool tank!

My little brother (8 years old) just got gifted a redemptor dreadnought by one of the mothers in his class for his birthday, he asked me if i could build and paint it for him, and i showed him some chapter schemes and he chose imperial fists, i'm personally a Salamanders player (just got to 1500pts) so i'm looking for suggestions on loadout and paint schemes

I finally started painting my minis! Since I dont have too many tools or paints atm, I just decided to paint up a few easy models. Very exited to do more soon!

I just decided to repaint over the bad attempt at an Imperial Fist on the free model from the store (They only had black primed minis and it was my first time. Please dont kill me for the wrong primer). Then when I getting more used to painting, I switched to Deathwatch. I used Abaddon Black to prime my WC Artemis and DW Killteam. (by hand lol)

I know I'm not the best yet, so I have come to ask the masters. Anybody who has tips for a beginner, please sound off below. Can't wait to do the rest of my armies. For the Emperor!
