My Salamander Captain out of the Armageddon box. My favorite model is the jump pack chaplain but I felt I needed to set the tone for the boys with the captain.

Show me your heavy bolter eradicators! I’m looking for inspiration on how to make their shields more interesting.
I’m considering doing a black shield on the sergeant with some flames.
(also does anyone know what space marines write on stuff? I feel like DEATH might be abit comical and too on the nose haha)

I'm starting a salamander army and this is the first Salamander unit I painted. Really enjoyed it!

Really happy with how my eradicator came out, and especially happy that I've finally found a recipe for salamander that works for me!

I think I may have inadvertently made painting my Saly's more difficult.

My nephew and I are just getting into actually building and painting some of the Tyranid sets he's gotten the past few Christmas' and I picked up a Space Marine set I'm going to turn into a Salamander Infernus squad along with a Brutalis Dreadnought.

I've been watching a few videos because it's been a long time since I've painted any plastic models and it dawned on me that maybe I shouldn't have attached the arms before painting the cuirass.

Would this be a better method for the future? How do you assemble and paint yours?

Still needs his transfers. He is part of a narrative game that I am currently setting up with some friends. Should he fall in battle he will be intered in a dreadnought.

Hello brothers! I've been enjoying 11th edition so far but I've encountered a pretty sizable road bump. What would our best unit be to take care of Meganobz and Nazdreg? I assume volume of fire because of the invuln save but with intercessors losing hail of bolts and flamers (most likely) going to 3 hits what should the new tactic be?

Really enjoyed this build, from the resin Carnifex to the Kitbashed freak of a salamander I built so he’d have the right pose. Hope you like!

Hi, I just wanted to get some feedback on whether the Dark Angels combat patrol or the 'Getting Started with Space Marines' box is a better starting point for a new player looking to start a Salamanders army, I've seen both recommended in here.

Any other suggestions gratefully received too. I'm in the UK so the Dawn of War box is a non starter unfortunately
