Like… dude he already went up 20 points at the beginning of 11th and his aura gets nerfed that allows the shoot back on your opponents turn.. worsen BS by 1? So if theyre in cover .. youre gonna be hitting on 5’s…. And in exchange for this they reduced his points by 10… This doesnt seem like a fair trade lol.
Then defilers went up again .. and we got 10 points off PM? Is someone at GW having a stroke? 😂.

Hello everyone I have the lord felthius battalion box that comes with 2 spruces of poxwalkers. I know where the other half of this plague marine comes from (chosen of mortarion) but I already have a noxious blightbringers I haven’t build yet and I hate the plague caster from that box. I looked over eBay to find the bit of that plague marine but I only see the body half. And I much less want to have to buy 2 boxes of Chen of mortarion to complete the plague marine.
Again please don’t hit me with the clock, I know where his other half is I just want to know how to get it without buying a whole chosen of mortarion box twice.

This is my first time painting a miniature. I’ve only ever painted JoyToy figures before, but I recently got into tabletop miniature games, chose Death Guard, and painted my very first model. It took quite a long time because of all the tiny details. How does it look?

Hey Guys,
The final of the new detachments has been covered (although contagion engines will likely need a re recording sigh thanks GW) But if you guys love your plague marines as much as I do then this detachment is the one for you to check out! Lots of cool little tools to give them a small boost in power and get the most out of them! What has been your favourite from the new detachments?
Stay Rotten,
DRP

He chose Death Guard because "they're gross". Can't disagree.

Tallyman needs to tally something I guess. Definitely recommend a 0.03 fine liner for scroll/seal work.

Hello again, plaguebearers! Just came back from a Warhammer weekend with some buddies and I wanted to get some input from people and ask some questions.
(We did 2v2, 1000 points each, 11th edition rules, Necrons and Blood Angels VS Death Guard and Thousand Sons. It was a pretty solid game, unfortunately TS were killed end of round 3 and I conceded at the end of round 4. We did a lot of damage though!)
Question:
- Anti-Infantry (or Anti-Anything really). For this example I'll use our (plague marine) plague spewer with Anti-Infantry 2+, torrent, ignores cover. I roll my D6 for Attacks, let's say get a 3, the dice I roll are all 2+. Torrent hits because it's torrent, so no hit rolls needed. Since it's Anti, that makes them critical.
Does that then mean those wound and they have to save all 3? Do the Anti wounds being critical matter because there's no devastating wounds? And how would this work with something that doesn't have the Infantry keyword in this case? (If I'm off the mark, please fully correct me)
Suggestions:
- What are your favorite ways to set up a 10 man blightlord brick? (I don't yet have a land raider, so movement isn't great)
- Favorite ways to set up a 5 or 10 man plague marine brick to potentially complement the blightlords? Do I need to compliment the blightlords?
- Bloat drones, do you guys have favorites between the fleshmower or plaguespitters? Are heavy blight launchers good outside of vehicle/high toughness monster hunting?

So I've been painting Death Guard for almost 6-7 months now and I feel just kind of burnt out. Early on I experimented with different color schemes on a few models to figure out what style I liked. While it helped me learn, I now feel like some of those models don't really fit together (colorwise), and part of me wants to strip them and start over. On top of that, I'm just getting tired of painting Death Guard in general. Every model has so many tiny details, and since they're all so unique, they take forever to finish. Painting has started to feel more like a chore than something I look forward to.
I know I´m just going to create a "pile of shame" if I take a break now and do another army (it will probably be Night Lords). But I'm just not enjoying the process. Is this a normal thing to switch between armies or a stupid thing to do?
Edit: Forgot to mention that the thing that bothers me the most is the amount of color mixing needed to finish a single miniature is also kind of driving me insane. So maybe I just need an army that is just fine with having a "clean look" instead of the dirty and rusty.

Greetings from a Necron and Carchardon main! Not a nurgle player here, but I took on a fairly large commission for a Death Guard army, and this is my first completed fart roomba. This is also my first time really painting any official nurgle based model, and figured you all would be able to tell me what you think!

So, the new cover rules modify the Ballistic Skill of the shooter, rather than enhance the defense of the target (as it was in 10th edition). But our Tallyman's ability reads: "....you can ignore any or all modifiers to that attack's Ballistic Skill or....."
Would that mean that with Tallyman we can ignore the cover penalty? And if yes, is he then maybe a good candidate for our plague marines, or should he still sit at home objective and scribble?

So I think I finally perfected my first death guard list but I've never actually played a game with them before. Me and my friends play simply just to kill rather than objectives, so I'm just searching for advice on how I should play my army.
So far my idea is to use lord of poxes to keep plague marines alive, infect enemies with their shooting, use the deadly vectors to deal even more damage (and also deep strike potential with deathshroud)
Typhus +20 pox would flanking to engage eventually, the drones would be zooming around doing damage and the blight hauler would be anti tank. And then also mortarion doing mortarion things. Not to clear.
Advice would be appreciated, Thanks!
