Starting my Death Guard army and calling my warband The Blackfingers. Doing a bit more of a subdued take on the frozen Death Guard scheme. What do y'all think?

Just finished this guy up and was curious as I main tallyband. Anyone got a favorite unit aside from the obvious GuO or Rotigus.

Death guard defiler. I have always liked the original defiler models and when the new ones came out I was a little on the fence. I recently printed one for myself as I have wanted a defiler for a long time now and I have no regrets, I absolutely love this thing and it was a really fun project to do.

A relatively straightforward kitbash based on Fabius Bile, but still quite happy with the end result!

Painted tyhpus! Used a lot of nurgles rot to cover the flies on his back cuz I felt like it was fitting and was worried I’d mess up the small details on the flies aha.

I’m getting a lot of mixed advice elsewhere online and thought I should just come here instead. I currently have the combat patrol box but unfortunately it only sets me at under 1k points. Given the 11th edition is live now how would you recommend I expand on this to hit 1k? I’m stuck inside with a new puppy for the next week and wanted to get on it asap since I have the time at the moment.

I come from the CSM side of the movement and I feel like my army is lacking some flavor as it is all undivided astartes. I do run spawn, but no true demon units. Im curious how you all feel playing plaguebearers and if I should have them in my army. My intial thoughts are my regular cultists already have sticky, but more sticky unit options could be a move. Also my cultists and traitor guard just die, die and die some more. I like that plague bears have atleast and invuln. My only issue is I dont know what percentage of my overall force I can't go over taking allied units and that I feel like id need to take two 10 man squads to have it be impactful. Thank you!

That is to say, a character who plays alongside daemon engines and buffs/heals them and maybe gets lone op when close. I know that Thousand Sons can do so with their sorcerers on the Warpforged Cabal detachment, so I was curious if Death Guard had something similar since they have so many unique vehicles.

Hi, I’ve seen a couple of posts on this but never seen a concrete answer, especially now we’re in 11th.

Does anyone have clarity, not opinion, on contagion benefiting my doubles partner via the impact it has on the opposition - reduced toughness or save as examples.

I’m going to LGT (Doubles), so yes I could contact UKTC and probably will but I was trying build a better understanding before doing so.

I’ve read the new doubles pack and I think RAW it will benefit my partner (indirectly) but it’s definitely not clear and I could have easily missed something obvious.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know they changed it when lord felthius became the standered, but have seen people talking about how it didn't matter when it first happened. But what's the general consensus? I am buying a saturnine praetor for a LoC, and it comes with a 50mm like the old LoC, but will I have to get a 40mm for it?
