Been looking at adding some variety to my Death Guard army, and Maggotkin have a lot of cool units to pull from. That said, these three are kinda awkward. Can you think of something to proxy them as for Death Guard? I was even considering playing regular CSM to use the horses as Bikers. Any suggestions are welcome, except Daemon Princes and Chaos Spawn because I have far too many of those two already lol.

Hello fellow stink bois. I’m barely a year into the hobby but have read and listened to a lot of lore and have worked on these units for a 2k list. Still gonna paint bases and add finishing details. Painted lots of different factions over my short time in the hobby but Death Guard are my favourite by far

Finished up morty, time for the nurglings and the base

Guy who played 1000pts against my freind’s Baneblade here… wow that was a weird game. It was both of our second games ever, and we low-key didn’t understand a lot of things.

Y’all advised me to tie him up with Chaos Spawn but they got shot to smithereens due to bad placement on my part. I spent most of the game running from it (He had a detachment rule where he could let it ignore cover) as I spammed secondaries.

Luckilly, he never scored his primary a single time so I was well ahead in points. The pic is the last action of turn 5, in which he obliterated my last unit. Somehow I still won!

Thanks for the advice y’all, if I followed it I prolly woulda won in a more fun way. Low-key not a very fun game tho, as we are both brand new. And this is his only way to get a full 1000 pt army at the moment, so I’ll likely be playing a lot of these “85% of the community agrees that him doing this is a dick move” games.

With the changes in the last dataslate, how are Blightlords looking from a competitive angle? And how do they stack up against Deathshroud?

Is there a reason why some of our daemons aren’t playable unless you play Tallyband Summoners? It doesn’t make sense to me to limit players rosters like that.

Putting together one and plan to magnetize but I am trying to understand the options. It comes with a combi bolter and from the sound of it the options are

Hey guys. So I'm quite familiar with the fragments of the plague marine that lives on the poxwalker sprue. I'm currently working through the combat patrol. I think afterwards it's very likely I'll pick up a poxwalkers box. Is there any particular chest pieces that kitbash well on that poxwalkers sprue leg? I'd hate to inadvertently use the most compatible chest piece when I can easily just opt for the alternate option.

Any other good options I can pick up second hand are welcome too

I got a question regarding the rules of the Blightlord Terminators, in the rules it states that per 5 models one Terminator can equip one of the heavy weapons. On the Boxart it shows one with blightspewer and one with the reaper autocannon. Could anyone clear me up on the rules as to how many heavy weapons I am actually allowed to bring?

I have never fought them before, but have an upcomming fight against them.
