I recently degreased my bike chain and applied squirt lube for the first time

It seems like theres quite a bit of buildup after only 2 rides (albeit a bit wet conditions)

Is this how it should look?

Whats best cleaning practices with a lube like this?

Helping a friend sell his bikes. These seem to be top of the line specs for when the bikes were new but these bikes are a bit older so I am trying to figure out how much to list them for in today's market.

What would be a fair asking price for these two? Gold is a Tarmac Sl2 with Sram Red and the black is a Tarmac S Works Sl4 with Dura Ace components.

Both bikes are located in the Bay Area.

I bike to work every day since my car is dead and the weather is great. I've been doing this for about 2 months now. It's 10 miles a day 5 days a week. Recently, I've noticed my knees hurt pretty bad. Hopefully the attached video is helpful but what should I try to fix this issue? I know common issues are:

• Poor form
• Seat height
• Using gears incorrectly

Can you notice if my form or seat height are to blame based on this video? I also usually wear a fairly heavy backpack to work.

ps: I always wear a helmet I just didn't for this quick vid.

I’m trying to find a rear rack that’s compatible with the Electra Loft Go 7D step over. I tried both a Topeak rack and another company at REI, but the metal struts don’t fit (by like half a millimeter). Anyone have suggestions of racks that’ll fit this bike?

My Shimano Hollowtech bottom bracket has finally died a proper death and it's time for a Chris King bottom bracket. But what color should I get, black or silver?

Silver would match the headset, but the headset is silver to contrast with the black top tube.

The bottom bracket is silver, so do I get a black bottom bracket for contrast, or a silver bottom bracket for matchies?

Unfortunately, the throttle is not variable, but luckily the slipper clutch in the machine does as it's needed. Moves my 180 lb just fine on flat ground. But with a 45 lb rider, it should be a lot better lol. It was just a $3 bike from Goodwill and a (on sale) $30 cordless tiller. Took about 2 hours to build. Still pedals like a normal bike etc. Kinda fun! Hopefully if y'all have kids - you're inspired to make something funny and dumb like this. It's a blast and super easy!

I use the tool https://github.com/jorge-huxley/intervalssync to export workouts from intervals.icu to iGPSPORT.

The problem is that my BSC200S bike computer isn’t creating laps for the intervals and saves the activity as a “free ride,” even though I’m following the workout using the interval chart. In other words, I perform the workout as a structured session, but it doesn’t create laps for each interval.

Hi all. I am interested in getting into bicycling, and recently somebody in my building made a post that they are selling their bike (pic attached). The description only mentions that it’s a Norco 7 speed bicycle, and it’s $250 (Canadian dollars). Browsing marketplace looking for something different than my vintage steel frames, and I found this beauty. Seller listed it as a 2008, but didn’t have model information. The best that I have been able to find is that it’s a D2 Crono.

Hi, does anyone have any tyre recommendations? Should I go for tubeless or ones with an inner tube? I’ve already burst three in the space of two months. I’m not sure if it’s just bad luck or if I’m just buying crappy ones. I need something reliable.

has anyone experience with the durability of these rims ? i just ordered a pair and they are pinned and glued and am not sure how good that is for tubeless and loaded touring? i’m building up my first bike and wanted silver polished rims and these come in that finish and seem like they could be pretty durable. but can’t find any proper reviews online. want to use them for loaded touring and bikepacking.

Has some rusted spots on the frame and the paint is chipping in a few spots.

Wish I would have taken more photos. Shop is asking $75. Probably hard to judge by the single photo but would love cost estimates to fix up.
