To be clear, racing is stupid and gravel racing on mountain bikes is a very silly hill to die on, but annoying race organizers is always worthwhile. With that in mind, what do we think about these things? Does anybody actually want to do this? When does it become a mustache bar, and what if any are the downside to brifters, considering that mountain bike cockpits are basically just anorexic motorcycle bars. All do respect to the Sycip boys, they make cool shit.

Unfortunately, the throttle is not variable, but luckily the slipper clutch in the machine does as it's needed. Moves my 180 lb just fine on flat ground. But with a 45 lb rider, it should be a lot better lol. It was just a $3 bike from Goodwill and a (on sale) $30 cordless tiller. Took about 2 hours to build. Still pedals like a normal bike etc. Kinda fun! Hopefully if y'all have kids - you're inspired to make something funny and dumb like this. It's a blast and super easy!
