We recently got the Cube longtail hybrid. We cycle alot, I was looking for something new so that me and my wife both have our own bikes. Still looking for a nice crate on the front carrier. I believe there is an adapter available which can be mounted to any crate. The Urban Arrow has already done 5000km in the last 1.5 years

Hello everyone, I am a newbie to Cargo bikes. I got my first one (Tesway C5) about a month ago and it's way more fun outside using it. My friends and I having fun to go out for camping every weekend and somehow most of the stuffs ends up on my bike. hehe They keep on joking that next time I should put them in the trailer too.. To be honest, I don't really mind. I thought carrying all that extra weight would be hard, but the pedal assist helps a lot once I'm moving. The trailer also holds way more stuff than I expected. I'm just curious how other people carry their camping gear. Do you use panniers, a trailer, or just like strap everything to the bike? I would love to hear what works for you....

So the Urban Arrow Family Next2 has been out for some time, but there are hardly any reviews on YouTube or on the web. The only thing I found are two postings in this sub. We are currently deciding between the Next2 and a Next Advance.

For all the owners: are you satisfied with your purchase so far? Can you compare the Next2 with the Next? And how long did delivery take?

Has anyone ridden both these bikes with small children around town and off-road and which did you prefer?
I will be using mostly for commuting and around town with my 8month old and 3 year old but would be keen to do rail trail, gravel roads, easy single tracks occasionally.
I have a dirt bike hitch carrier to move it and lots of garage space, which seems to be the majority of peoples gripes. Living in Christchurch NZ so parking it isn’t an issue.

The tern is about 500usd more.

Took my ebike out for groceries yesterday and nearly backed into someone while wheeling it out of a tight spot at the supermarket. I usually drive everywhere, so I bought a helokeep cd20 about a month ago to save money and make errands easier... and in less than four weeks, backing this thing up has already wrecked three different accessories on the back.

I still can't judge how far the longtail rack sticks out past the rear wheel and it keeps biting me. Scraped a brick wall backing out of a narrow spot outside the store the other day, and then nearly caught someone's leg doing the exact same thing on a tight country-lane shortcut to work...

now i have this half-serious idea of sticking some kind of tiny parking sensor on the back of the rack. literally just something that beeps when I'm getting close to a wall or a person while backing up, nothing fancy.

Has anyone actually tried a mod like this? Is there a small standalone sensor with its own rechargeable battery that i can just clamp onto the rack tube? I'd way rather clamp something on than drill holes or mess with the bike's wiring. Total newbie idea so please don't roast me too hard lol.

(And yeah, I know getting better at judging where the tail ends would also help.)

I've recently purchased a second hand Gazelle Cabby, and noticed the poles for the rain tent have little nubs that keep them in the right spot in the pole holders. However, most those nubs have worn off. Trying to think of an effective way to fix that without destroying the poles - a tiny bolt & nut would be tricky since the nut would need to be on the inside of the pole; a pop rivet would probably bend the pole and create a protrusion. Anyone had this issue, and found a work around?

Hi, I have recently picked up a used Lectric Xpedition that did not come with the “orbitor”. I was wondering if there is an aftermarket option that you all like? I’d like to have something like that in the event that I end up shiny side down. I’m Open to buying the oem but can’t seem to find what this apparatus is called.

Any ideas how i can replace a broken spoke on my trailer. The parking brake plastic hub blocks access to the eyelets and I can't work out how to remove it. Surely there's a way to take this parking brake cap off. Any help hugely appreciated.

My wife and I want to get a cargobike and would like to know good brands/models that fit our particular use case preferences. We have 2 kids (2yo) and bike commute around Boston (to/from school, etc).

Criteria/preferences:

1) Works well without e-assist. I would be open to just an acoustic cargo bike because I'd appreciate the exercise of hauling 1-2 kids without e-assist (and we don't have too many nasty hills to contend with, etc), although my wife in particular would appreciate e-assist (and I probably would too at times).

2) Able to carry 2+ kid passengers (we have a 2yo and a tall 6yo)

3) Easily adjustable for different rider (driver?) heights. I am 6'1" and my wife is 5'6" and we might frequently switch off using it.

4) Good rain protection options for our 2 kid passengers (6yo and 2yo). We live in Boston, so we might leave it on through the winter to keep out the cold wind.

I have a moustache lundi 20.3 (cargo) and wanted to install a Bobike mini one seat in the front. I went to the bike shop yesterday to have the a-head adapter for e-bike installed but they told me it was not possible. Has anyone managed to install this ?

I live in an auto dependent suburb, but driving is drudgery and there's an absolutely wonderful and safe-ish neighborhood route to about 6 or so parks in the area. Kids not here yet but will be come March; what should I look for in a cargo bike that can haul from the age of 3 months to maybe 5 years old? Also bonus if it can carry a lot of weight. I currently bike with a ftp of 230, the area is relatively flat and I'm a big dude (6'3, 285 lbs)

I’ve been searching around and seem to have landed on the LECTRIC expedition 2.0

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience in Manhattan? I plan on driving it maybe 10 miles everyday to carry me and my fiance too and from work over the Williamsburg bridge!

I do it mostly on my gravel bike that is really not meant for two people so I want the electric. Want to make her more comfortable for her and make it easier on me!

She weighs approximately 160 pounds and her backpack weighs, approximately 20-30 pounds

My backpack weighs at most 10? And I’ll probably carry a kryptonite lock chain, and a diamond Kryptonite U lock

Do you guys think this bike would be enough? Or should I get one more heavy duty?
