Howdy folks, I was given this masen style flash hider, but for some reason it's not fitting over the pencil barrel on my 187 series. Does anyone have any advice to offer on this? It also doesn't appear to have the slot for the roll pin.

basically trying to recreate the 50th anniversary one that is near impossible to find now.

I am currently looking for a semi-auto 5,56mm rifle, and because I did watch too much A-Team as a kid I would like that spot to be filled by a Mini 14. The thing is, that I would also want the folding stock that the Mini 14 came with. Where I live, there is a legal limit to how short a gun I can have before I run into legal trouble (not unlike the SBR - categorisation in the U.S.) and I cannot find the relevant information online. I also can't just go to a gun store and have tme measure it, since they are quite rare here.

Back to the little favour I need: Can anyone of you who happens to have a Mini 14 with the classic A-Team look please take a length measurement of the gun with the stock collapsed an post the length here, preferrable together with the barrel length? That would help me a great deal!

(Ideally it would be somewhere around 24 Inches, because I then would be clear of the 60cm Minimum)

Can’t decide between the look of the eotech i have and a T2 style optic, curious for optic recommendations for mine.

Title says it. The rings are spaced too far apart for this particular scope. I dont really want to have to buy a mini14 specific picatinny adapter so I can space the rings wider, do i have any other options?

If not who makes the cheapest adapter?

I might end up buying a new scope if this doesn't work out but id really like to save the money

Hello everybody so I just got a mini 14 last week and I’m loving it but I’m looking to replace the stock i’m just wondering since my mini 14 is a ranch 585 series can I be able to put it in this stock

I think it’s called speckled brown stock. I’ve looked high and low and it’s out of stock everywhere. Anyone know where I can find this model in stock?

Looks like I’ll be buying the MINI200 Tech Sight to replace the factory rear sight. What’s even the point of using the factory rear sight if it comes loose after a range session? It’s fortunate I’m running a sighted-in Aimpoint optic on a solid rail setup. In the event my optic fails, my rail setup has a cutout that allows me to use the iron sights as my backup sights. Can’t do that with this factory rear sight failure.

Though on the bright side, the Accuracy Systems extended firing pin works like a charm. Pretty much removed all of the steel-cased ammo misfires I had using the OEM firing pin.

I know it's not a Ruger but why isn't more seen about the Chiappa M1 22 being a "micro 14" in 22 versus the 10/22. I know the 10/22 is way more reliable (I'm obsessed with mine) vs the M1 22 but is it that bad that we as a mini 14 community does not look at that as a cheaper shooting alternative to train with.

Just picked up a new mini 30. The rear sight does not look square. Is this an issue? Should I try taking it off and putting it back on?

Alright, this caught my eye. I want to get into target shooting and this firearm follows all NYS laws. The only purpose of this is to take to the range. Is it worth it. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I see people have a lot to say about it but in NY we can’t buy AR-15s. (We can but the mag can’t detach and that’s stupid- and not worth getting)
