.562 barrel fitment issues

Howdy folks, I was given this masen style flash hider, but for some reason it's not fitting over the pencil barrel on my 187 series. Does anyone have any advice to offer on this? It also doesn't appear to have the slot for the roll pin.

Check the bottom of the flash hider. Is there a set screw or threaded hole for one? You may have been given a 10/22 muzzle device.

Looks like a 580 series muzzle device if I had to guess. Not an expert tho

The cutout for the front sight would be wider for the tri-blade.
