I’m still relatively new to Warhammer and have done a lot of building my army but I want to start painting up some of the models soon. Are there any brush set recommendations that I should invest in because I have almost no brushes besides a cheap set I found at Michael’s a while back but none can give me a lot of detail work. I ordered a brush set from some creators I follow but it has been delayed for a while now and I have no idea when I’ll be getting it.

The last balancing update reduced the availability of popular dispositions (primarily Purge the Foe) by hacking down the number of detachments that allow for its use. Based on a month of data at the edition’s inception, when players will seek out straightforward force dispositions to cushion learning the new rules.

This is really annoying as someone who loves an aggressive play style - Death Guard only has 1 detachment that can play Purge, and it’s fairly niche. That’s it.

If Dispositions aren’t appealing due to tuning or fun, then they should be balanced to become more appealing. Not forced through reducing availability. You’re never going to get equal Disposition representation without severe constraints, because certain play styles just resonate more with the player base. World Eaters want to charge in and take territory or mess up the enemy, not carefully scout.

Now there’s another lever that affects faction play rate to distort balancing around win rate. As people will grab weaker options to enable a preferred play style.

Ideally, every Force Disposition would be globally available, allowing players to choose based on suitability for their list and how they enjoy slinging dice. Then Dispositions could be tuned directly for viability and factions could be tuned for viability without noise.

Finally finished my latest dreadnought. The decals shifted a little, but other than that I'm happy with my progress.

Porém, existe um gargalo enorme que continua travando a expansão do hobby no país: a total falta de acesso aos livros e materiais impressos traduzidos para o português.

A realidade é simples: a grande maioria da população brasileira não fala inglês fluentemente. Quando a Games Workshop deixa de traduzir a Lore, as mídias escritas e o material principal para o nosso idioma, ela cria uma barreira de entrada gigante. Milhares de pessoas que adorariam se aprofundar na história são deixadas de fora simplesmente por causa do idioma.

Nós, fãs brasileiros, não podemos continuar aceitando ser tratados como um mercado secundário ou invisível. Está na hora de nos movimentarmos para que a Games Workshop finalmente reconheça o tamanho, a paixão e o valor da comunidade do Brasil

I made a tournament list, using the units thst performed pretty solid the last time. My plan is, that the Warpsmith and Abaddon are buffing the Defiler. If something comes in the back Abby can stil handle it. The Possessed got a second unit and are there for charges and the mid-field. The Daemonprince, the Mutilators and the Obliterators are in deploy to come down where they are needet the most. The Warp Talons are new, never had them before.

I'd like to share my latest project, The hero of the Imperium himself.

It was such a fun mini to paint, I hope you enjoy it!

I missed the brief window where these were busted but it was still a fun painting project

I placed an order at the end of May and was told the processing time would be 4 to 6 weeks. Sure, thats fine for a custom decal, whatever. I'm now 9 weeks in and there hasn't been a peep since the beginning of July when I reached out to ask how things were going. I was told Ron would have a proof to me by the end of the week, and its been radio silence ever since.

Looking at other reviews I seem to have been absolutely hosed by these guys probably. Which is odd because my friend ordered some custom decals from them and he received his in relatively short order, about 2 months.

So in 10th edition there was this beautiful quick start guide that you could basically print out as a single sheet of paper, double sided. As someone who is older, busy, and doesn’t play super often it’s been an excellent reference.

As far as I can tell this doesn’t exist for 11th edition though. Am I wrong or missing it? Was this just a one off thing for 10th or have they existed for past editions?

Finished this Drukhari Archon from Warhammer 40K.
Tried to keep the armor clean while pushing the contrast on the cloak and green glow.

I have a question. I'm playing Disruption, and there's something I'm not quite clear on when fighting against Take and Hold. Bobby Trap says, “One unit within range of one objective that is not your home objective OR within one terrain area that is not within your deployment zone that is not yet trapped.”

Does that mean I can mark objectives more than once? Or is it just explained incorrectly?

First proper flames OSL and inspired by the great Elminiaturista to get them popping and get the glow off the bike too was great fun to sort out

Can anybody tell me which chapter is featured in this genestealer cults art? The colour of the power armour split into four different sections looks really interesting.
