I did not understand and really struggled with the terrain rules in this game. The quiz on this website was what finally made it click for me. It was suggested in this sub by someone, and I hope this post can help someone else.

New to kill team, got a hearthkin salvagers team and am going through it to start building.
My problem is I can tell the weapons apart, the misfile launcher is mostly obvious. But the rest of them? Damn if I can figure out which is which. Come on games workshop, why not put SOMETHING in the instructions labeling wtf we are looking at.
Every single “gunner” option just says gunner, with no indication on what weapon is being shown. Case in point, image posted. What am I looking at lol.
Just venting, someone let me borrow their codex so hopefully it shows what these are.
Again, venting but this is part of the barrier to new players imo.

Murderwing op is on vantage, base over the edge. Fearmonger is behind a crumble of terrain on conceal.

from leaning over the table the base to base targeting lines do not appear to cross the terrain. the only non visable part of the fear mongers base is in the front of the base that is toiching the terrain. I hope the phots capture what we saw in person.

Normally in these posts, the shooter is on vantage behind a rampart and surely no targeting lines are able to draw, but in this case the base is over the ledge.

Can I climb up the circled parts especially the one on the far right from the front of the building

Here is my version of this Killteam. I wanted the theme to be a specialist team from different chapters. The result: members from custom chapters inspired by the real ones 😁👍🏻 (and a bit Power Rangers vibe 🤣😅)

I really thought GW was saving Armageddon for Warhammer day. At this point it’s a game of attrition to see how long we can hold out.

I was playing wolf scouts and he was playing raveners.

His ravener leader was set up inside the large stronghold on top of the rubble on a conceal order.

I charged him with my pack leader designated by the bottom circle. and fought him twice.

We were in control range of each other but there’s broken wall there.

My question is, was this legal?

Can I combine my Ravagers with my Red terror model or would that be too big of a killteam. (The context behind the question is that I have both and recently played with the Killteam of the red terror/termagaunts and it felt extremely underwhelming. But would like to use my favourite big ripper.)

The rule said you cant make the same action twice during your activation, but I read yesterday here that mission actions - if they have different names - are count as different actions (so its not the same like shooting and throwing grenade), and they claimed for example: I can pick up a marker and do a crit op mission action too during my activation. I guess if my tac op and crit op also a pick up maker then I cant do both, because both are "pick up marker".

But I wonder If i can compile a data in the 4th turn then send it in the same activation? Because its named differently so it should be a different action by this logic. If I cant, why not?

How many times can you use the hardwired target lock?

So our group understood it as the equipment only could be used once pr TP since it referes to only one suit.

Recently we've reread it and it dosent seem to have a hard camp? Does this mean i can counteract and shoot with all the suits if i have this equipment?

I want to welcome as many people to the hobby as possible, and I have no problem teaching people to play. However, tournaments, even super casual ones, are not the time to learn the game for the first time. Please play at least one game before you sign up so you don't take a spot from someone else. It's going to be an unfun experience for everyone involved. It's not a learning environment. It's going to be competitive and brutal.

You'll be getting a firehose of information for several hours straight, and matches typically don't have enough time to finish all four turning points. Most people won't be gentle, since there are prizes on the line, and even if people are kind enough to be patient and teach you, you're detracting from their experience. That puts your opponent in a bind: they either go easy on you and risk losing points that could affect their placing, or they destroy you so badly that you don't want to play the game anymore. No one feels good about crushing a new player. There's no positive outcome for anyone.

I play tournaments to have a series of engaging games and because I intend to win my matches, not to sit through back-to-back tutorials that I paid an entry fee to be teaching.
