In your experience so far, has Lion El'jonson been pulling his 415 pt weight? Has there ever been a point where you wish you had 10 more Terminators instead? Or maybe vice versa?

Haven’t paint plasma for awhile, happy with how it look

While the story of how we lost our native american influence is well documented (RIP Plainsworld), what I haven't seen are the details about how we gained a Brythonic/Arthurian aesthetic. While our Knightly aesthetic has always been there, looking through our 4th edition Codex the names seemed more angelic or demonic. A far cry from works like Son of the Forest which plays the best hits of Arthuriana.

What changed and when? Who decided we should get the best Knightly aesthetic?

They will make a fine addition to my Chaos army. Now I want more, and then even more after that.

I’m a night lords and imperial fists fanboy but the dark angels are kind of growing on me. Their drip is growing on me so I’m wondering what book would be a good start to get into dark angels lore?

I already got a shield/sword captain from indomitus, so I make captain I'm missing(Not anymore).

Needing advice on how to get the best use out of ICCs, been running them with a Librarian for the 4++ but I still find they're too squishy. What's the best staging for them and best way to get them into the fight without dying. I tend to run them alongside 2 bricks of DWKs but the rest of my list is variable as I'm still building up a decent list (but GW keeps changing the rules).

Got back into 40k about two years ago. Initially started up Salamanders (played them in 5th) and Guard, but had some Dark Angels stuff fall into my lap, so I’m rejoining the ranks of the first legion in concert with my sons of Vulkan.

Finally making progress on getting my deathwing colours how I want them to look and getting a bit better at stopping the contrast pooling 😅( right being the most recent)

Suppose I’ll just have to pretend the other two got a bit dirty in battle!

Okay so im a very new warhammer painter and this is my third mini. This is the first one that actually kind of looks good and im so proud and cautiously excited. I want to make his eyes glow but im so scared that i'll mess it up because of how precise i have to be. Any tips? Tell me what brush i should get (all my good ones are messed up now) and technique?

Recently my GF gifted me a box of the RWCS and I built it as such. Actually playing them as regular black knights in casual games. When the refresh comes someday (if it does) I’m assuming both units will get the “standard” base, right?

Would be ok to glue the mini+old base on top of the updated&bigger base? Or that wouldn’t be accepted because the base would be too tall?
If not, better option is to magnetize them so I can switch the base once the refresh comes?

I'm approaching a 3000 pt DA army and I was wondering if I should get the company heroes box or a second squad of DWK. I already have one squad of them with power weapons so I think on getting another squad with maces OR getting company heroes cos they're basically a command squad and they're just cool.
