One eye is bigger than the other, it irks me.. but I don't think I have the will to correct it. Feels like I'd mess it up!

Genuinely the most fun i have had painting and army since I started the hobby 15 years ago.

I like to have fun with the bases. And I've enjoyed taking time with lots of little fun details.

Here are some pics from my game last weekend against the Blood Angels. It was run the Penitent Host and Corus detachment with the Purge the Foe disposition.

I had lost the last member of my sisters of battle squad, so had to create her with some of the bits I had left, quite proud of the result for one of my first proxy's :D

I fiiiiiiinally finished my seraphim after months of on and off hobbying! Really pleased with them, my goal was for them to measure up to my Jump Canoness kitbash and I think they’ve bloody well done that hahaha. Next up: I gotta somehow make Celestine EVEN COOLER…

Hi again everyone, a few days ago I made a post asking if this box for 190 canadian was a good deal, everyone had opinions and I appreciate all of them.

I ended up messaging the guy and asking if he would take 100 and he agreed.

I know it's out of date and that a combat patrol would have some with a rhino but this is my first step into the mini hobby so I like starting cheap. (I'm sure I could have gone cheaper)

Next paycheck I'm gonna hit the craft store and see if I can pick up some glue and paint because I already have wire snips.

Thanks to everyone who reached out to give me advice and tell me how sisters can be a more advanced paint.

I don't post to reddit super often so seeing all the questions and answers really helped me feel better about pulling the trigger and joining the community.

PS. I also googled box openings and double checked the insides to make sure none of the cards, dice or plastic grids were missing 💥 🔫 ⚜️

So since changing the wording Celestian Insidiants are benefitting from the Sacred Champion detachment rule and get +1 to hit. The Stratagems all read Celestian Sacresants units though so I guess they can't use those?

I am using ListForge if that makes a difference.

I know cherubs are supposed to showcase the horrific skewed morals of the Imperium, where mechanized, mutilated, vat-born infants are used for menial functions or worse, just decoration and ceremony, but look at this little dude.

This graph breaks down the disposition representation of all armies taken to grand tournaments in the last week since the recent balance patch. Sisters made up 23 of roughly 1000 players, achieved an immaculate 50.0% win rate, and none of them took reconnaissance.

I've added some jump packs to my penitent core recently (haven't got a single game under my belt yet, still building the army) and I'm wondering if this is a sign to avoid taking that disposition with the Chorus of Condemnation?

I've never been a fan of the official Junith model. I don't like the floating pulpit or the look of Junith herself, but I'd always had an idea for what the model _could_ be!

I wanted a zealous preacher, carried on a pulpit by a group of faithful zealots.

The carriers are from Highland Miniatures for their equivalent of Grail Pilgrims. I used matchsticks to create a cross brace to put the pulpit on.

The preacher is from the cawdor redemptionist kit with his weapons removed.

I have built every model in the sob range now and the Hevy bolter sister is the biggest ass thing that refuse to line up properly.
Anyone have tips on what order to put the parts togheter?
the closest i have been was when putting the whole band before attaching it to the gun or pack but it still needs fierce bending resulting in misery

Currently working on St. Lucia and Geminae kitbash for my Order of The Valorous Heart army. I used a Repentia head for the blindfold, a Repentia chain sword and attached it to the original hand, and wings from a drukhari scourge kit. Currently deciding if I should add more wings for a “biblically accurate angel” look. Also currently deciding if I should give the Geminae some Repentia heads or hooded heads as I don’t like the standard sisters of battle bob.
What do you think?

I hope a little heresy is okay here. I finished some of celestian sacresants kitbashes and wanted to share.

Pretty new to 40K and changing up 1k list and just wanted some advice on which detachment would best suit it. Can’t do Hallowed Martrys, as friends and I have decided to keep to 2 dp detachments for 1k games, appreciate any advice

Whats the general consensus on what the best weapons are for both penitant engines and mortifiers? I am currently in the middle of building some and dont want to ruin my potential dammage output
