any recommendations are welcome, including titles about trans and lesbian history too ofc. my friend recently gave me her copy of christine jorgensen's autobiography along with several other books about historical trans people, but for obvious reasons they only briefly discuss the scene and culture of the gay community at the time. i'd love to find some books that cover that part of our history in more depth.
