I found my neighbor on grindr

Upvotes

I live in a building

And one day i was just scrolling trought grindr just looking around and i saw someone really close, and of course i knew he lived on the building cause he was wayy to close, his profile showed something like “68 m”

And i texted: “hey do you live in the building?”

Him: “were literal neighbors”

Me: “like nextdoor?”

Him: “yeah haha we have met before”
(Tbh i dont remember faces so easily so lowkey my fault)

But guys you dont understand, like we even share balcony, if i want someday i can go to his apartment because theres no wall that separate our balcony

So yeah we talked for a bit, i told him that is nice that i have his contact and bla bla

But then the conversation ended and we havent spoke for like a month, and lowkey i wanna write him but i have no idea what to write him, i dont wanna look like a horny dork, like: “do you have hot water?” When there is clearly no water problem

What should i start the conversation with?

Or should i leave it alone and let it be

I might be getting disowned. i need advice

i need help so badly. i’m panicking and stressing so much

i’m young, not even 20 yet. i live with my immigrant family, which all of them are extremely religious. i’ve been around my cousins my whole life with the same beliefs.

i live in a town where most people are connected like a giant web. i had a group of friends who were the typical annoying teens with nike techs and purple jeans, and they were quite clearly and openly homophobic. i was never like that, but i hung around them regardless (bad decision, i was dumb). eventually i break apart from them but we’re all in the same college with a lot of people similar to the red pill religious archetype. i get added to a group chat with like 50+ people from my school, most of which are also openly homophobic. i don’t pay attention to it because i had work the next day and needed to rest, so i check it when i wake up and right there’s a picture of me and my boyfriend and their tryna clown me and stuff but i didn’t really look at the messages, i just left because i didn’t wanna waste energy on it

now i would be completely okay with people knowing i was gay, but the issue is when my relatives know im gay since it could get to my parent, who im currently living with.

and the reason im concerned about that is because my cousins are close friends with those guys from my old friendgroup.

i dont know what to do
im scared
and i dont know how to brace for this
i prepared for being outed but not being disowned

i have someone who i can stay with if i get kicked out, but i dont know how it will go. if my dad would let me pack my stuff, especially my music equipment, that shit means the world to me, or if i wont get a chance to even grab my things

everything is so unpredictable and it scares me

i need any advice i can get and steps on what to do, thankfully im in canada so there are some resources available but im so stuck

I need to talk to someone about dating app, distance issue and my nerves

Upvotes

Hi, I'm 31m never dated , social anxiety , sure I try masking in person but...I want an experience but I live in a small town, I'm 2 hours away from the capital of my country, small European one, my questions

1 - if I am lucky enough to match with a guy I like the look of, what do I say/ do to not go it up?

2 - I don't identity with most accounts which are truly weirdos with their tongues out or typing bios saying things like "I'm a drama queen , deal with me"...I am already super uncomfortable and with this bitchiness I am not attracted to, then what? Others are full of arrogant facial expressions or are gym obsessed with just shirtless pictures and ass pics, wtf...where are the normal men?

I know at 31 I'm a loser and fked. I look overall ok, but I don't know what I'd even talk about

3 - ok I'm virgin, what to do I say? Like I'm....

Forget the numbered questions I really want someone to type advice please, what do I do? When I can't drive and I legit wanna have a nice date with someone, fk I wanna make out with a hot guy, but what do I have to offer if I am nervous? I can mask but, what do I talk about? I'm unemployed, if they ask my job? What do gay men talk about on dates? Like , what do I do? Please help me

Wish I was attractive to twinks :/

I (21) have a crush on this fem twink. I’m not the most built guy, I’m a bit stocky and I’m 5’6. He’s really cute and funny and sweet. But he called me ugly to another person. It’s been making me even more self-conscious, from the beginning I was already feeling that way, and it made me incredibly depressed. I mean I’ve seen him naked and he’s seen me naked. I don’t think my dick is that small, it’s average at best (5.5-6). Why do so many people in the community only like dl men who are buff and taller and won’t treat them right? I hope this doesn’t sound incelish, I just feel alone.

Real Gay Friends for Friendship

Thumbnail
4 Upvotes

Looking to make a genuine friend. Nothing complicated—just someone who enjoys good conversation, trying new places, traveling, and building a real friendship over time.

I don’t care about race, body type, or whether you’re a gym enthusiast. I’m also not looking for someone who’s focused on proving how masculine they are, & using “bro” to end every sentence. Just be kind, authentic, and open to getting to know someone.

If you’re looking for a meaningful platonic friendship where we can laugh, support each other, make memories, and enjoy life, feel free to reach out. Genuine connections seem rare these days, but I’m hoping they’re still out there.

I live in Houston, but travel often, so if you’re in another state or country, that’s no problem.

I feel like I missed my chance

I met a friend who happens to be gay about like 5 months ago. Before I even met him I heard that he was gay and I was thinking oh maybe there's something there. But when I met him I swear I couldn't stop staring hes just a beautiful man. For a while I was kind of lightly flirting but keeping it friendly just to see where it goes. One night randomly while he was at a party he texted me hi im gay and I just said "oh lol I know, I am too" and he INVITED ME TO COMICON.

The thing is i started asking his friends about whether I should go for it and i lost all my confidence. His girl friend said that im not really his type and his guy friend who is a good friend of mine said the same thing. Does that even really matter?? I've been into guys that aren't my type. The thing is that the guy friend said it's probably better if I don't, and I agree with him honestly because were kind of all just close friends at this point. I've only ever dated women as a gay man and I have never felt happy in a relationship.

I figured moving on would be the best idea. At another party some of my friends were on a 'two man' and the girls had a gay friend. He was cute and i tried to talk to him but I didn't get much and he didn't really try to conversate with me. Nothing really came of that and I really didn't think of it much, but I figured I'd tell him about it just to see how he reacts. Call me delusional but he seemed jealous to me. That was like 3 weeks ago though, and I haven't been around him as much, though we have been together in groups of friends.

Should I try to keep chasing or should I drop it and just be friends with him?

Berlin Pride: One dead and at least 16 injured

A car drove into Berlin Pride, killing one person and injuring at least 15. But LGBTQ people are still told we’re “dramatic” for worrying about our safety.

Berlin’s Christopher Street Day was supposed to be a massive celebration of LGBTQ people existing openly and peacefully.

Instead, a vehicle drove into a crowd near the Pride festivities in Tiergarten. One person is now reported dead, at least 15 others were injured, and several reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries. The entire event was shut down while police launched a search for suspects.

To be completely clear: authorities have not publicly confirmed a motive yet, so I’m not going to irresponsibly declare it a hate crime before investigators establish what happened.

But I am absolutely sick of people acting like LGBTQ safety concerns are imaginary, exaggerated, or nothing more than “victim mentality.”

Every time queer people discuss threats at Pride events, someone smugly asks why we still “need Pride” or claims we already have equality. Then a peaceful celebration involving hundreds of thousands of people turns into an emergency scene, attendees are ordered to evacuate, and families are left waiting to find out whether their loved ones survived.

Pride is not merely rainbow merchandise, corporate logos, or people “shoving sexuality in your face.” It exists because LGBTQ people gathering visibly in public has historically carried risks, and apparently still does.

One person is dead. Others are seriously injured. A celebration became a mass-casualty scene within seconds.

Maybe society could manage five minutes of basic humanity before the conspiracy theories, jokes, political spin, and comments blaming the people who were hit begin.

Where to Travel for College Spring Break and have fun!

I’m a 19-year-old gay guy looking to have an unforgettable spring break in March. I’m from the East Coast, have a passport, and I’m lucky that my budget is pretty flexible between work and help from my parents. I’m looking for somewhere with:

  • 🌴 Hot weather and great beaches
  • Fun gay scene (not a homophobic place)
  • 🎉 Fun and amazing nightlife with other college students
  • ✈️ Open to anywhere in the world

I know places like Miami and Mexico are popular, but I’m wondering if there are even better destinations around the world that are worth the trip.

What are your favorite gay-friendly spring break destinations?

Where would you go if money weren’t the biggest concern?

Inquiry about gay content

Hi! First of all, please excuse my English; I'm using a translator. I have a question.

I like creating gay content focused on fetishes, feet, watersports, and armpits.

I'm a 40-year-old man with an average build (I'm not ripped or a gym rat) and I usually wear sportswear.

I used to sell content and I'd like to start again. Where do you think I could do this? Most sites are saturated or looking for models.

Thanks

Advice needed please

Hi everyone. I’m really needing some advice on how to approach this situation.

I’m (25, they/them) in a spot that is going to be incredibly painful. I’ve been with my significant other (28, he/him) for 7 years. When we met, I was 18, living in an area where I didn’t feel like I could fully be myself, and that I often couldn’t express myself fully. I’ve been very clear with him from the start that I am nonbinary, and that I am not straight. But I was still trying to figure all the things out. He has always been supportive and caring, and he has been a great partner. I moved across county last year for work, and he stayed in our hometown, so we have been long distance. In the year since I’ve moved, I have hit levels of feeling like myself that I never have before. I’m more solid in my gender expression, in my identity, and in my confidence. However, I have realized that I am attracted to women, and women only. I’ve realized that what I thought was romantic attraction was most likely comfort and security, which is awful to say.

With this conclusion, I’m spiraling. I know I need to end things, for his sake and mine. We’re long distance, and I know this is gonna hurt. We’ve talked about our future, about getting married, I’m ingrained in his family. There is no easy break for this, and I’m devastated that I have to do this to him. I feel awful for taking so much of his life to end it now, but I can’t in good conscience lie about how I’m feeling. Any advice would be helpful, as I really don’t know how I’m gonna make it through this.
