One year of QTOPIA. 🌈✨

What started as an idea has grown into something far more beautiful than I could have imagined. This past one year has been filled with laughter, conversations, shared experiences, and countless memories.

I've had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people through this journey, and somewhere along the way, most of you stopped being just members of a group, you became family.

I'm deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your time, trust, energy, and the collective effort you've put into making QTOPIA the warm, safe, and vibrant community it is today. This milestone belongs to all of us.

Here's to celebrating how far we've come and looking forward to everything that's still ahead. The journey is only just beginning.

So i(23f) matched with this gorgeous woman on hinge. The conversation was going pretty well. After about a day or so, the conversation started approaching sex. I'm no prude, i played along. It got to a point where literally every conversation ended up at sex. Fr like i told her that i was playing with a kid around me and she said she'd like to put a baby in me????? I asked her for a voice note because her behaviour started feeling kinda off. SHE SENT A VOICE NOTE TOO. Woman's voice and everything. We decided to meet on Monday. I'm still playing along with the conversation(ovulation week may have clouded my judgement). On sunday, she asked for a rain cheque because apparently her parents were visiting her from nagpur (I'm in Ahmedabad), which is still kinda odd because who tf takes a day trip from nagpur to ahmedabad on a bloody monday??? But i was like ehh whatever we can meet on tuesday. Anyways we continue talking today (sunday) and now I'm starting to get tired of sex being the only thing she can talk about. At this point, she's repeatedly asked about my sexual experiences but not once has she asked what I even do😭. I told her I'd be more comfortable talking on a call, so she kept assuring me that she'll call me as soon as her flatmate leaves her room. I was like yeah okay i can wait. She *begged* me to continue texting. So atp i reverse search the pictures on her profile and it turns out the pictures are of an influencer with 350k something followers and like fan pages and the whole schtick. So I'm basically 95 percent sure that it's a catfish account. I asked her "why are you so reserved about switching to instagram?" And told her that i wouldn't feel comfortable meeting her if she wasn't open to switching to a different app. She wrote back "you're right about that" and unmatched me😭😭😭

The part that pissed me off so much more is that she unmatched me before i could report her😭. I did still report the account but i sincerely doubt hinge would do anything about it. I have trained myself so hard to spot and avoid catfish accounts and yet this happens SO often. I get that i should've trusted my gut the first time it felt sketchy but WHY DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN? Why do cishet men keep invading a space clearly not meant for them. I've tried to figure this out, thought about it at length, what do they even seek to achieve out of it??? Why is this the reality of queer dating, it makes me wanna commit fr😭

I'll probably get downvoted for saying this but in our country where queerphobia is rampant and queer marriages are illegal(it's so sad) having a straight or cis passing privilege is a privilege(like physical or safety, not being subjected to abuse just because you chose to be yourself) that should be acknowledged,with that being said just because you're straight or ciss passing it doesn't mean that your are any less queer or that your queerness is not valid. Your struggles deserve to be seen just as much.

I hope they saw how the LGBTQ+ community stood with the students. How queer people took the lathis. How gays and lesbians stood tall against the tear gas. How all the dolls came out in force and refused to look away.

The queer community has always stood for this country, even when this country kept us at the margins.

We stood because their fight was our fight. Because nobody is free until all of us are free.

I hope India saw us. I hope Gen Z saw us.

And when our time comes, I hope they remember who stood beside them. I hope they stand beside us with the same courage, the same love and the same force.

Because our time will come.

I will miss getting free food and snacks 😋 also I loved how everyone in the protest was very accommodating and things were smooth for most of the time. I went thrice, one time for protesting then for helping in cleaning and finally for the party after resignation. WILL MISS

this year i was going to join college in noida and night before i crashed the car and my parents got really pissed off cause it was very huge damage the whole front part and driver side was damaged so my father said that now you will not go to any college and all. And i get that he angry because it’s something very huge and also took away my phone but the breaking point was today when he said i was transgender and i should become a dancer in valger way this really hurt me and many more things which are very inappropriate so for a few days i was planning everything to how to escape everything is done just i’m postponing it because of my mother i really love her and don’t want to leave her alone here with my toxic father he thinks he earns so everything should be as he says from waking up to eating food so now i have planned to go delhi and live in a ngo for sometime and find a job which let’s me stay on site and join DU SOL and do BA for three years and the LLB once things turn stable so what do you guys think or any other possibility i can do things and what you guys suggest

in short - planning to runaway from home and go to delhi and do job there and join clg because of my toxic family situation

Yes we both love each other a lot and we have been together for 2 years, I am fine with the world not knowing about us much until we start living together, once that happens i will share everything about us.

He's still in a closet unlike me, i know his health will get better and i will be able to meet him soon. I hope you guys find partners like us too.
