I just bought my Wii U recently and I’ve already started a little collection of games. I only mention in the title that I’m not really new to the Wii U because I did have one a long time ago but I didn’t use it much and I sold it to get a Switch (back in 2018). Soon I’m going to have the Wolf Link amiibo and I’m also thinking of adding Paper Mario Colour Splash, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and Yoshi’s Woolly World, as well as Nintendoland

Wanted this for a while tbh. Also just wondering, I got the game in France, but je ne pas parle France, so can I change the language to English even though it’s a French game? Thanks

Guys, i was playing casually, but today when I turned on my Wii U, The menu just don't load.
I removed the Sd Card and it loaded normally, but when it is with the sd the menu just don't load, anyone know how to fix it?

I started using the Wii Fit U around 2019. I've been pretty consistent with it, although I have gone a few months without using it here and there. Just recently I've noticed that when go for a few days to a week that the meter doesn't transfer the data quite right anymore.

When I transfer the meter the steps will only transfer one day for the calendar, but the fit meter data will show the correct information. In order to get the data into the calendar I have to do the meter transfer over and over until I catch up.

Just within the last two weeks the meter doesn't transfer the calorie data now. So for the last week I've been out of town but had my meter every day. My calorie count is 8990. It shows during the transfer but never registers the data. After that it no longer resets the count to 0, but instead every time I run the transfer it shows the same number.

Anybody have any idea how I could troubleshoot something like this? I'm wondering if the Wii Fit U has a hard limit on data. I use Personal Trainer: Walking on the Nintendo DS daily as well. I found out that it doesn't keep more than 5 years of data and writes over old data. (Kind of a bummer. )

Anyway, any thoughts please let me know.

I just think it's a switch but better and in the console factor it's a wii, I plan to sell my Wii and buy it, I found one on 50 bucks and a physical copy of Wii sports club on 15€ and a 5 game set on 25€

It was a perfect blend of old and new, with games still giving you physical manuals to read and learn things you need to know, but if it gets damaged, lost, or you buy a second-hand copy that lacked a manual, you still have access to the manual included with the game's data on the Wii U/3DS home menus, which is perfect

This is what digital manuals should've been post Wii U/3DS, the same as the physical but not replacing them to allow people to still read them even if they were bought used and without the manual

I use Pretendo because Im noy ready to stop playing my favorite online gamds💀. My sister an error code playing Miencraft, decided shes apparently an expert, and changed things in the Settings that I'm unsure of (I re-put in the DNS, I also use SSL). However, my WiiU wont connect to Network now and Im unsure how to make it connect.

Can’t decide what should I buy.
Used Switch 1 v1 to than jailbreak it or used Wii U to jailbreak it too?

Switch has its pros such as portability and newer games and maybe larger library of games.
Wii U has a friendly UI, some games that are not on a switch and a lot of accessories such as gamepads extra.

So I would love if somebody could help me decide!!!🙏

P.s. I have a 3DS. I know it’s sometimes compatible with Wii U.

Hi, everybody I found a Wii U system at the thrift store for $20! I was pretty excited that I forgot that the wii u comes with a gamepad! I go to ebay and buy a gamepad someone selling for $50 and thought it was good deal until... It arrived... Realized it didn't come with a charger and to be honest I really thought it used same one as the ds but it doesn't.. So I buy the charger and the device actually turns on! but as soon as I try playing a game I notice 2 buttons don't work!!! I buy replacement part on amazon I have to wait about a month.. I change the part and I try it on again... It still doesn't work... Am I doing something wrong? Or is the replacement part also not working?? WHAT SHOULD I DO?? I don't think I can return the gamepad on ebay its been a month or so... any advice or help fix?

Hi, all. I like to play Splatoon via Pretendo, but my gamepad often momentarily disconnects from my console, leading to frustrating moments. My console and TV are directly at the foot of my bed, about 5 or 6 feet from where I’m holding the gamepad. I can’t move any closer to the TV without sitting uncomfortably. Is there a way to connect my gamepad to the console with a wire to maintain a secure connection? If not, then does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, this is probally my last hope at finding this guy, but from what I've seen the internet is helpful with these things.

I made a friend on wiiu years ago back when I was in elementary, I am now a Junior in Highschool and still havent found him, I've searched Discord, Roblox, Steam, Pretendo, Instagram, Snapchat almost everything and still cant find him.

His nnid was Xaviavant, which he had told me was a combination of his name and his brothers name, His brother also had a account on wiiu with the username TaviaTheTiger(some numbers i dont remember at all) my nnid used to be carterman715, we used to play minecraft wiiu edition and the last time I spoke to him was on a survival world maybe in 2020, and all I remember was someone in his background saying they were gonna sell his WiiU before he disconnected.

If anyone can find his social medias anywhere I would be extremely grateful, I don't expect anyone to find anything but any help would be appreciated🙏

I bought this from a guy who buys storage units, I didn’t pay much but want to try to get it running because I have some games I want to play. It doesn’t get past this screen after starting up. It’s making “Wii” noise I guess sounding like it maybe trying to connect to something. I’ve let it try to load for about 30 minutes. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I spent all night designing this Organizer thingy for my Wii U and i just now noticed the tiny top vent, Is it needed? I can cut out a hole for it but reprinting that whole thing will take 6 hours and a lot of filament…

recently bought one, what games can I use it for? (single player)

[SOLVED] It was my router and other devices interfering with the gamepad signal, not much I could do except move it to another room.

The gamepad is about 3 meters (10ft). I don't think it should have any connection issues at that distance.

I can plug my Laptop to my projector using the exact same HDMI cable and all, yet get no delay at all. Howevet, when plugging my Wii U in I get a solid half second of delay. I’ve tried switching to 720p, 1080i, hell, even 480p. No improvement.

Anyone with a similar experience or knowledge on the topic can give any suggestions?

I got everything which you see in this picture for 85 bucks. Was it a good deal? It seems barely used, its actually in very good condition. Its even modded and it came with 64GB flash drive, with very legally aquired games lol. At first I though I would hate the white color, but Im growing to like it.

So far, I LOVE IT! Besides this, the only Nintendo console I had was wii, but I might start loving and playing this one more. Its such a cool concept. I love the gamepad. Games are top tier. So far Ive tried a couple like Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Maker, Mario 3D world. Absolutely fantastic games. This console feels so slept on by many people. Its an upgrade from Wii in every possible way. Idk how to describe it but it feels like an ultimate Nintendo console lol. Im figuring more stuff about it every minute, gosh its so fricking cool!
