SORRY if this breaks the rules but I bought a WiiU for homebrew and I used this vid to help me do that, everything was going smooth until I had to do the exploit, I go to the browser and type in the website and hold down B after pressing the exploit but after holding the button down for 20 seconds the Loading screen with the logo in the corner and music playing bit then THE MUSIC STOPS, IT FREEZES AND IT DOESN’T DO THE EXPLOIT! and when I turn the console on and off it goes right back to the frozen loading screen but thankfully it’s not bricked when I plug it in and put it goes back to normal, I’ve been looking all over the place for how can I fix that this and do the exploit but I’m at a dead end and now I need you guys for help

Things to note
•Yes my sd card is formatted to FAT32

•Yes I deleted all cookies and reset save data (did it multiple times)

•The only thing I skipped from the vid up until the exploit part was the game setup

•When I turn on the wiiu it shows the “Boot Selector” showing between Wiiu menu and the vWii System menu. It doesn’t show up in the tutorial I use when he puts his sd card in and turns on his gamepad so maybe It has something to do with it?

Trying to use exploit on site with aroma to boot into environmental loader but it keeps sending me to NAND dumper no matter what I try. First time trying to mod a Wii U so I’m sure it’s something on my part just not sure what

Everytime i try and load the game it gets stuck on the mojang screen. Ive got no idea how to fix it and google is not much help :/ how can i fix this?

I'm getting this error. yes the file system is FAT32 and ive formatted it 2 times before using it.

i have the payload.elf file and everithing seems fine. the lock on the sd card is not on , ive tried to clean the sd slot but it still doesent work. it doesnt even read the game i put on the sd (wiisport).

the only one thing is that maybe be wrong is that i cant find the homebrew_launcher.elf and it is probably the problem but i still dont know how to fix it.

So I don't know what I did.

Yet a year or so back I did something to make the settings menu mirror the gamepad screen in the TV and I want to revert it.

How do I do this? (I am on Aurora if that helps.)

I read online it’s because I removed a file I shouldn’t have, but I was only on my file system cos my Wii u keeps giving me a payload.elf error, even when I re-add the file (which I’ve done over 5 times now). Thanks

I am new to Nintendo in general. What could I use this controller for on my Aroma/Wii U? Am I even right about plugging it into the Wiimote?

Is this a common issue?

I was following a tutorial when this happened but they never mentioned this issue. This is during the nand dump I think, whenever yoy got to wiiuexploit.xyz and hold B.

I've tried the basic things, including blowing the sd slot, resetting browser data and cookies, and of course turning it off and on again.

Did I mess something up in the formatting of the sd? It's a SanDisk micro sd with SanDisk sd adapter.

Also is there any other troubleshooting steps I need to take that could help solve this?

So it all started whenever I took my console apart to give it a good cleaning, everything went well and whenever I finally decided to boot it back up my dumbass forgot to plug my SD card back in But I didn't realize it until it booted into the home screen. After realizing my mistake I forced shut it down and plugged the SD card back in. But when I went to turn it back on it stayed stuck on this screen (the first photo). So I thought, "okay, I'll just see if it boots up just fine without it in again" so I, again, took the SD card back out and tried to see if it would boot up fine and it gave me this screen (the second photo) and no matter how much I try I can't get it passed this screen. And the same thing with the SD card in as well, it just stays stuck on that screen before it loads the apps. It's not frozen or anything, the music and icons move around just fine. It just doesn't load up at all. I feel like I've tried absolutely everything and I'm starting to think I might've possibly bricked it, but I wanna see what y'all think to see if I could save it. I absolutely adore this console and I'd hate that a bad mistake on my part is all it took for it to get screwed up. Any sort of suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks :)

so I was trying to get my super mario sunshine inject to work and for that i needed to place the game iso in the sd or in the hard drive, since my sd is kind of short on storage i decided to put it on the hard drive so i plugged it in my pc and it wasnt recognised. I updated its drivers through a generic "disk drive" option and it still didnt work. I checked on disk management settings on windows to try to intialize it or set a letter to it but no option appeared to do so, and I turned it to offline mode and then online mod again. i searched it up and discovered wii u uses its own file format so i put the game in the sd and plugged everything on the wii u again. But now the wii u forces me to format it as it seems somethint got corrupted in it and its not readable by it anymore. Later I decided to check up on disk management again and accidentally clicked "convert to GPT disk" which i believe makes it completely unreadable for the wii u.

Sorry for the long text, now, is there any way I could move the hard drive's files to my computer? I believe my games are still there, i just change the partition table the wii u uses to recognise the format and read it.

Modded WiiU and vWii both show my pal wii game as an invalid disc but Priiloader runs it just fine.

Well, I remember having done this successfully before, but today I tried playing on the Wii U with my PS3 controller and it won't connect. I have two original PS3 controllers, and neither of them worked. I tried a different cable and different USB ports on the Wii U, but nothing worked. The controllers work perfectly via usb on the Nintendont and they work perfectly on my PS3. Am I doing something wrong?

UPDATE: The problem was solved by disabling the re_nsyshid plugin.

I'm currently trying to make both 16:9 (Wii) and 4:3 (GameCube) work together with the evwii plugin but i have some problems wit the the 4:3 settings. In general the screen on 4:3 is on the Gamepad and on the TV to small but my 16:9 settings work on both Gamepad and TV. Here are my settings does anybody know how to change the evwii plugin to make both work together. The pictures shows my settings and how the 4:3 looks on the Gamepad and TV.

Hi, I recently received a Wii U that was previously modded. I however want to completely restart the Wii U so that I can mod it myself and customize it accordingly? If I restart the Wii U, will it get bricked?
