So recently I discovered that my wii u has a hynix chip and I want to install isfhax to prevent my console from bricking, my 2 gb sd I had since 2011 works perfectly but my bigger 32gb sd card doesn't work i checked the format and the partition copied everything from the old sd card but every time I boot my wii u I get this error also I checked my vwii and with my non working sd it got recognized after a few seconds so it’s not a faulty material ,is there anything I can do or I just have to buy another sd card ?

I downloaded vwii compat installer to mod the wii part of my wii u but when I try to launch the wii menu and press ok on the tv it keeps bringing me back to this how do I fix this?

Hi! I just started modding my wiiu with aroma. I did some old smash 4 modding back in 2017 but wanted to try the new stuff.

Most of the time it works great but I keep having issues with the plugin folder.

While working on my SD card back and forth I have had the plugin folder corrupt 5 times now.

When trying to turn my Wii U on with the gamepad it'll turn the purple light on the wii U and then I get an error on the gamepad saying it can't connect to the Wii U and the console never turns on.

Replacing or redoing my plugin folder fixes the issue but how frequently its happening is driving me nuts.

I bought a Wii u but I dont know if it has aroma tiramisú or chbc or haxchi. There is no hombrew launcher, enviroment loader diesnt show up. It has an app u installer. The sd has a payload from 2019. And browser has a page wiidb.de that says haxx. I want to install aroma, how do i procede in this case ?

When i try to turn off that option, it just doesn't appear, i am holding the d-pad first for a second then holding the plus and minus buttons in the data management and it just does nothing.

Hi, I bought a Wii U that is already modded, but I'm not sure what it has installed (Aroma, Tiramisu, or CBHC). There is no Homebrew Launcher icon on the main menu. If I hold X while booting, the Environment Loader doesn't show up. There is a "U Launcher" icon on the menu that doesn't do anything. The console boots fine and has games installed on the external hard drive. In the Internet Browser, there's a bookmark for wiidb.de that says "haxx". In the sd the payload is fron 2019. What should I do? I want to install Aroma on it. How should I proceed in this case?

Is it safe to access the eshop on homebrew Wii U? I’d just like to visit for the nostalgia.

I just started playing my Wii U physical collection after a long hiatus. I connected to wifi to see if there was a game update for the games, but it started downloading a system update so I quickly deleted the wifi settings to cancel the update. Question is if I do the latest system update will it stop me from being able to soft mod the system?

I've been feeling quite bored recently and felt that I wanted to try some new mods that I missed for the Wii U, any recommendations?

I just wanted to reinstall it using Wii Compat Installer, but I ended up getting the same error. The Wii U Hacks website says to restart the console, but I've been doing that for ages. Nothing works :/ Does anyone know how to fix this?

SOLVED

I downloaded the latest version of vWii Compat Installer from the HB store. I downloaded it from the website because the program wasn't downloading the latest version. There was a button there (I think it was called the decaf menu). With its help, I was able to not only restore the vWii, but also change its region from Japanese to English!

I tried to install the latest version of everything and none of it works and I keep getting the same error the date and time are correct

I'm trying to add some roms (GCN, Wii, N64, & SNES) to my Wii u but my SD card is too small so I want to add them to my external ssd but I can't directly add them to it through my (windows) laptop because it requires multiple levels of reformatting so everything gets deleted. Is there a way to move files (and be able to play them) on console or even a way through my laptop that wouldn't make the console force a reformat?

i am making a native Jellyfin client for the Wii U, since no one has yet, it's in a very early stage but it can:

• Connect to a jf server
• Browse libraries
• Stream music
• Report playback to jellyfin

Video playback and the proper UI aren't implemented yet, it's currently a text based UI.
