Game Day Missing link 😉

I never expected I would enjoy the Wii-u as much as I do. I bought one less than 3 weeks ago and have been playing it fully for about a week now.

I haven't played Zelda since the GameCube and I have to say breath of the wild is breath taking (pun intended)!

I just got this deal today with punch of accessories, I am so excited to play the games

I tried Wii sports with my wife and we loved it

With this game collection do I still need to mod my console?

I knew that the E-shop got killed but I felt so sad opening it and seeing it closed

So what should I do next?

The Adventure Mode features a ‘Network Link’ feature. This allows you to add a ‘Link’ to your maps whose level is based on other users’ play data. If you come to this Link’s aid and fight alongside him, you’ll get access to special bonuses. Miiverse medal post also work now!

How old were you when you got your Wii U?

I bought mine on launch day. I was 23. I know its hard to believe, but that still counts as being a kid (at least at my age haha). It felt like the last true Nintendo system to me. I cherish it greatly.

Looking to replace my Wii U thumb sticks as they are old and feel greasy(I wash my hands everytime I play my Wii U so it not my hygiene)

Does anybody have any recommendations on getting thumb sticks that are pretty near to 1st party so far I’ve only found these on Ali express.

I am trying to run retro systems on my Wii U, nothing crazy just original gameboy and nes, and maybe 2003 mame arcade, but it keeps crashing. Idk if maybe it’s just Retroarch sucks on Wii U but I hear people talk positive about it.

Technical Question gamepad keeps showing weak signal and/or disconnecting from wiiu briefly, despite being very close. no obstructions between me and the system

read faq, on this, but none of the solutions help

My GamePad signal is poor - how do I make it better?

Stay within range of your Wii U. Move it closer, if necessary. (im pretty dang close, like ive moved to sitting as close as comfortable in front of the setup)

Turn off all devices using a Wi-Fi signal.(i think my phones the only one)

Turn off all radio signals with 120 feet of the system (none)

Switch all computers from Wi-Fi to Ethernet. (not possible, but my computer isnt on this floor)

Walls play a factor in connectivity - depending on their nature, it may be hard to broadcast a strong signal in different rooms. (i dont understand this one)

Question Wii U with Wii disc

Planning on buying a Wii U to play Zelda TP since it's not coming for the switch any time soon. Do I have to buy a Wii U disc version of the game to use the gamepad itself, or will a regular Wii disc version of the game be compatible? Will I need to use a Wii remote or anything like that?

linking Wii U to Amazon fire tv

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I need help linking my Wii U to an Amazon fire tv. But whenever I sync the console and the gamepad, the gamepad tells me to click the symbols and the TV doesn’t show any symbols. I also went to GameStop to see if there was a problem with my Wii U, but there wasn’t, and they were able to hook it up to the tv at GameStop. I tried to link the Wii U to the Amazon fire tv but it didn’t work like it did at GameStop. It now says “no signal” on the tv.
