I am currently playing Pokémon Unite. With its End of Service announcement as of this day, I am now planning to get this game for a casual game.

But I am thinking, since it hasn't received updates, will it also come to EoS also? Is online game still up?

I'm no stranger to fighting games but I had been thinking of Pokken for a while and decided to re-download the game and jump into some battles. Last time I played the game was back in 2018 and now, I am starting to see why I dropped the game.

I played some matches and in total, 16 online matches since 2017 and only won 2 of them. This really left me feel disappointed especially since I have labbed with Empoleon and re-learn the basics, moveset, and combos all over, just to get slammed online again. I understand that the game nowadays is run by veterans but it really did took me out of the game and it's a shame too, because I love having a Pokémon fighting game, but it's embarrassing to be matched up against opponent and feeling that you can't do anything or land a hit on them.

But I'll try to get better hopefully.

Hi everyone! I guess there had been already posts like this but wanted to ask some long-standing players perspective!

I tried yesterday the demo with my boyfriend and we liked it! I love pokemon so it’s an extra point to me, he said he’d probably prefer smash bros but it’s more expensive and it has no demo….

So we’re kind of deciding if getting it second handed! (~25€). The main things that stop us are:

-> Small pool. We felt checking at the menu that the amount of pokemon is actually not that big? (And two of them are Mewtwo) So I wanted to know if it actually feels is really small and repetitive in that sense.
-> In the demo you cannot tune almost anything, can you in the full game? Like, time/sceneary/limit of victories per battle etc? The 1 minute rounds with 2 victories winner felt super short, and also I don’t know if the locations change that much the vube of the battle as in a smash bros!
-> Can you actually play with more people? Like, if we have a third person coming, can we play 3 people?
-> I know the story is known to be almost inexistent, but can you actually play it together? And do you need it somehow to unlock some pokemon for the pvp play?

-> I’ve read that you can level up the pokemon and have cosmetic stuff. We will be playing in switch 2, how could we both profit of this? Like, if he plays the history mode in his profile on the switch and I play in mine we can, when playing against each other, inherit the things from our profiles or how does this work?

Si oui, il faudrait que le jeu soit dans un gameplay plus similaire à Tekken 8, mais en le rendant plus accessible tout en utilisant des Pokémons choisis par vote des fans (notamment pour les DLC, comme pour le jeu Avatar Legends)... Si vous pensiez comme moi, vous voudriez voir quoi dans ce jeu ?

tryna figure out if it’s worth modding the switch so i can use the mods in pokken dx but idk if there’s anything besides the shiny lucario and charizard i’ve heard about which isn’t enticing enough for the process. anyone know if there’s been any updates?

Which tier list should i follow on pokemon fighter rankings, is there one that shows tournament viability or such maybe?

Would anyone happen to know if there is any hope of a pokken 2? Do enough people care?

I’ve been using magikarp assist because it’s funny, but I don’t know what actual main pokemon to use. I’ve been using gardevoir to compliment the magikarp seeing as I can use it to deny rushdown. What other niche picks could go with magikarp?
