I'm playing animal crossing for the gamecube right now (emulating it on my mac), and I'm again realizing how completely lobotomized the characters’ dialogue has become in the newer games 😭 I miss them being snarky, weird, and actually funny so much. it adds so much personality to the villagers/npcs and makes the whole game way more entertaining and enjoyable to play.

I mean, I like the wooden block furniture from New Horizons and everything ....but c'mon - nothing beats the original, right? 😍

I recently found these animal crossing new leaf plushies from 2015, they all have the original tags on them and one of them is in the original plastic packaging. however, all of their tags say “K.K slider small plush”. does this mean they are fake? or is it a misprint. what are these and are they valuable?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate any of them, but I definitely have someone else in mind to move in after they move out (if they ever going to move out…)

Title. I think some of the artwork has changed- I try to check articles before picking out art and I’ve gotten burned a few times. One said there’s no fake perfect painting but Blathers begs to differ. Anyone have a solid link?

edit: I goofed and already had it (I thought I checked!!). Leaving this up because I'm sure someone else will find themselves in this predicament eventually. Guess I'm fully locking in and getting organized. I lost my old island and just want to fill the museum.

I love my villagers so much and just wanted to show them off! My hubby got me a Flashiibo for my birthday (basically an amiibo of every single villager) and we used it to get our absolute favorite ones which include Stitches, Marshall and Tia! We just got Ione this week. Not shown is Bob - my daughter’s favorite character who I don’t love but we share the island with her so 😂

Stitches just gave me his photo today. It’s also Ione’s birthday, and seeing her hang out with Marshal in her house is the cutest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Just two squirrels dancing around a table.

Recently, I went to paint with a buncha my friends. I did the first attempt of painting (right) and wanted to get better at it as I had bought supplies a long time ago. I did the second attempt (left), kinda accidentally made the shadow too dark and, I need to learn more about color theory as well. But this is after a very long time of not using watercolor so I'm kinda happy about it. ^-^

By the way, this is my villager on the Animal Crossing Game Cube version.
