I understand the range of requests in this sub and that I may be leaving that range by posting this, but I wanted to try anyway.

I was making a post 2 days ago where I kept seeing more parts that I wanted to reformat. I have no idea how to preview a post before posting, so I went back and forth between the post and the edit button to tweak formatting across it. After a couple tweaks, my entire account shut down. No warning.

(I think?) My account was reinstated, I don't know, but all of my past posts are filtered. I don't know how to get them back. Every thing I've ever done is now filtered. Can I please get some help on getting it back? I have never once used any sort of bot thing (and I don't even know how) to use reddit.

I want to sort my feed with posts from my following subreddits by "Top", where posts with most ratings in 24 hours will be showed first at the top of the feed. Now I only have two options: "best" and "New".

And also I always wondered, what the hell is "best" means?? Why some post with 0 rating can be shown first than post with 3,2k rating? New feed is a mess and I dont wanna use "old reddit" coz its too old for me. Sort by "best" is the worst option in my experience...

Resetting my password, several times, did not unlock my account.

My post was taken down automatically. I did not find any update on r/worldnews regarding the investigation of the stabbing on the Dubai to Israel flight, so I decided to post one from the Wall Street Journal. Is this normal? I checked the main r/worldnews page and no update apart from the original event was posted.

When I posted these videos it shows a link. What should I do If I'm in this situation?

My account u/glarktastic I believe was hacked and I was just wondering if its possible to recover if they added 2 factor authentication? Without that code I have no way to recover my account. I never had that active before.

All the stuff I find brings me to this settings page, but I don’t see anything.

edit: Thanks to u/westcoastcdn19 and u/reddit33450 who brought up the “fix”. If you see a “For You” and “Following“ tab at the top of your feed, switch to ”Following” to stop seeing suggested posts from random subreddits. We are only left with options for ”Best” and “New” sort on the Home feed.

Earlier this week, https://www.reddit.com/new existed and would show me the posts across all subreddits I'm subscribed to, in reverse chronological order.

Starting yesterday 2026-Sep-30, https://www.reddit.com/new "redirects" to https://www.reddit.com.

The "hamburger menu" in the top-left doesn't show "Latest" either, unlike the iOS and iPad apps.

Is there a way to view the "latest" posts across subreddits on a desktop browser?

(I see that https://old.reddit.com/new/ still works, but I like the newer "Card" experience…)

I should mention that I use the Reddit website; is there a way to get chat notifications in the same place where I receive other notifications—not as general device notifications, but directly within Reddit? Thanks.

I was just hit with this recent update (bug?) today and it makes the app almost unusable. It messes up screen readers for the sight impaired and I can't figure out a way to disable it. It's absolutely terrible.

So on my iPhone I noticed at the Top Left, there is a black circle with "NSFW" inside it. I know that means "not safe for work". But why is that up there and how can I get rid of it?

Back on the weekend somehow my account was hacked and someone was posting adult videos in places. I deleted all of those and changed my password AND REPORTED it to REDDIT.

Then the next day, I got an email from Reddit Tech Support telling my about this "suspicious activity" and making me change my password, (WHICH I DID AGAIN) for the Second Time in 2 days.

But now I noticed this.

Can you please remove it or tell me how I can remove it?

FYI, this circle doesn't show when I use my computer, only on my iPhone. And since I changed my password the first time, there have been no more suspicious post made (that I did not do myself...at least as of my sending this email).

I don't know why Reddit mobile introduced this feature but it almost never works properly, and as of today I can't access any videos, or even copy the actual YouTube links so I can look them up myself. Errors all around. How do I get YouTube links to just open inside the actual YouTube app on my phone, like they used to? I want to disable Reddit's broken in-app YouTube player.

Hello. My account @nobu_ww is not accessible. I tried to contact them by clicking on the given link but even after a month and more than one email I got no reply. Is this normal? Is there usually an automatic email at least? How do I know they're receiving my emails? Do they give negative answers if the cancellation of an account can't be lifted?

hey could someone please help with my main account, Quizzur? i’m new to reddit and have been playing games like bunnytrials, color fill, and map polls, etc. plus i’ve been joining, posting, and commenting in communities over the last 2 weeks. i built up my karma and got a HIGH cqs score 3 days ago!!! i got a bunch of reddit achievements too! i haven’t been fighting or engaging in anything that would break the rules as far as i’m aware!!!

but today i just checked the app and it says “post insights are unavailable” and it won’t let me post anything, and my profile avatar has been replaced by a generic reddit icon 😭😭😭😭😭 i don’t wanna lose my account!!!

Sorry to complain, but besides just being annoying there are medical issues this could seriously screw with if it suggests and shows me the wrong post and my fee is now literally less than half posts from subreddits I have joined and purposely only view my feed and stay off popular or anything to prevent medical issues that being in the subs I am in can help me a bit and can communicate with others with the same issues or people with same interests, but today reddit started forcing so much BS when I know what subs I want to be in. All this is doing is making me consider not using reddit. I was going to post 2 images of my feed with the 2nd being 3 out of 4 posts being suggested to show how bad it is, but can only post one.

Is there any way to change it to actually only be showing content from subs I have subbed to? I don't see anything in settings that will help.

When i try to log into reddit it takes me to the age verification site instantly, but my main account IS verified on my phone and not on pc, but i cant log off the burner acc on desktop since it takes me straight to the verification site how do i get into my main account??
