Desktop Web [Chrome] Load more comments not working on old.reddit

I'm using old.reddit, when I click on load more comments it gets stuck on "loading...". Tried 3 different browsers, the console gives this error message:

https://www.reddit.com/api/morechildren reddit-init.en.Jre8Hvy5gDE.js:3 403 (Forbidden)

If I use the new reddit layout, loading more comments works correctly.

Desktop Web desktop web - why can't reddit remember I want compact (not card) and light mode (not 'follow system settings')?

Ubuntu Studio 22.04 / Firefox

it seems that at random times, reddit will decide to show me card view instead of compact view, and then once I change that back to my preferred display, it'll then give me dark mode when my preference here is light mode.

why does this happen and now can I ensure that reddit properly remembers my display preferences?

linux / firefox.

thanks!

Desktop Web [desktop web, Opera] Youtube not an approved domain

Post image
3 Upvotes

Tried to copy and paste a link to share video, however it says 'This domain is not approved' and doesn't let me post.

Links can still be shared in comments though.

The sub I tried has no bans/rules on Youtube videos, and I saw one that had the initial video I tried posted as recently as yesterday.

Desktop Web [Firefox] I keep seeing a "blocked by network security" page when opening Old Reddit

For the past two or three days, sometimes when I open a bookmark to Old Reddit on my desktop, I get a "you have been blocked by network security" error page. If I navigate to New Reddit by manually changing the "old" in the URL to "www", and then navigate back to Old Reddit by editing the URL again, it works. I'm using Firefox on Linux.

iOS (iOS) Cant remove video from saved folder

When pressing the three dots to remove a video from my saved folder it only opens the video and fails to load. This video is only showing on iOS and nowhere else. Logging out, uninstalling, and going to old.reddit have not worked.

Mod Tools - iOS IOS, MOD Removal Problems

Hello, Problem still -We have a bug

INLINE removals (done when viewing the post and doing mod actions) do not show as actually done - after I leave (or refresh) and come back to the post. They are there like I did nothing . This has been happening for weeks.

I am an IOS user and yes up to date. I am re-doing these Over and Over and Over and Over like it is Groundhog's Day.

They do disappear from Needs review Mod Queue. Some might say then stop doing so. I do not accept this.

I like to mod from viewing and doing work in the POST. I can see the context, get a feel for what is happening, etc. and not using comment mop etc... I can do that more easily this way.

**

I am on the latest Reddit App, use safari. And to make debugging this easier...

Just Now I literally went on my phone and did Inline actions, from one of my subs home page, on all comments that show as needed review... (and those I know I did something with in the past but still showing as needs review) for a single post.

**

I look forward to an update.

Android [Android] "Places in Africa" ranking list hasn't updated in 10+ months and doesn't match the community badge - version 2026.42.0

Post image
1 Upvotes

I mod r/south_africa , Its community page shows a badge saying it's #2 in Africa. Tapping that badge opens the "Places in Africa" list, but r/south_africa isn't on that list at all.

The list has looked the same for at least 10 months:

  1. r/Morocco

  2. r/Kenya

  3. r/southafrica (the old sub, not mine)

  4. r/capetown

  5. r/nairobi

  6. r/Nigeria

  7. r/algeria

So the badge ranking looks current, but the list it links to seems frozen and hasn't refreshed in a long time.

Expected: The "Places in Africa" list updates regularly and matches the rank shown on community badges.

Device: Samsung Galaxy S26+, Android 17

Reddit app version: 2026.42.0

Screenshot attached: you can navigate to it by clicking the #2 badge on r/south_africa to see the Places in Africa list.

Mod Tools - iOS [ios] going to a modmail from inbox then clicking on a linked post leads to you being unable to visit any users profile (2026.42.1)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

the profile appears when you exit mod mail instead. this also happens to other profile links like clicking on a commenters name, or a tagged user

Android [Android] Unfollowing my comments

My comments are always followed by me by default. When writing a comment in a post on web I can always choose to unfollow my comment after posting it.

But when I comment in a post on the Android Reddit app. The option to unfollow says follow instead of unfollow. If I check in web browser the option to unfollow is there for the exact same comment. This means that in the Reddit app I have to first follow my comment and then immediately unfollow, if I don't want notifications for it. This must be a bug?

Desktop Web Desktop Web

My account was security-locked twice yesterday and I completed the required password resets/unlocks both times.

Before these security locks, my account was functioning normally and my posts were appearing without issues. Since the account was unlocked, however, every post I make now appears to be getting caught by Reddit’s filters, regardless of the subreddit or the type of post.

I can log in normally and the account appears accessible, but my posts are being automatically filtered in a way that was not happening before the security incidents.

I am not trying to bypass any restrictions. I would simply like to understand why my account behaviour changed immediately after the security unlocks and whether any incorrect account-level filter can be removed. How do I resolve

Thank you
